About Greater Anglia
Running a mixed fleet of electric and diesel trains, Abellio Greater Anglia network offers mainline links from London Liverpool Street to Norwich and the Norfolk coast, Ipswich and the Suffolk coast. It also provides a commuter route through Essex to Southend Victoria. The company runs regular direct trains to Cambridge and services to the international ferry port at Harwich and Stansted Airport. The Abellio network includes busy commuter routes connecting London to East Anglia in addition to more scenic tourist services. The Greater Anglia service is owned by Abellio, a joint venture between the Dutch national rail operator and a Japanese trading company.

Abellio Greater Anglia: Ticket Types
All Abellio Greater Anglia tickets are available as singles or returns. Buying tickets online (perhaps with the Omio app, hint hint) and in advance often means that you can get Anglia tickets for cheaper, as well as benefit from promotions.
First Class Tickets
First Class offers plush, reclining seats, complimentary hot drinks and water as well as an in-seat service.
Anytime Tickets
These tickets have no time resistrictions and can be used up until 4 a.m. the following day. As one of the most flexible and last minute ticket type, it often means that these are the most expensive Anglia ticket option.
Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak Tickets
Abellio Greater Anglia Off-Peak times are valid for trains that arrive in London after 10 am on weekdays, and cannot be used between 4–7 pm and anytime on weekends and bank holidays. Super off-peak can be used after Midday, and not between 4-7 pm, but have no resistrictions on weekends or holidays. If you can travel outside of commuter hours, then travelling Off-Peak is a great way to save money on Greater Anglia trains.

For local services in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire you can bring your bike free of charge, but as there are only four cycle spaces per train, it works on a first come first served basis.
