I travelled from Calais to Dover on a DFDS ferry and was absolutely satisfied. I was travelling on business, so I also had my car with me. Overall, I found the price-performance ratio to be absolutely reasonable. A particular highlight for me was the beautiful view that you could enjoy from the observation deck. In addition, all the staff on the ship were very friendly and always courteous. I can absolutely recommend it!

As we wanted to go on holiday to England, we had to take the ferry. Of course, we also travelled by car. Everything went very well so far. The staff handled everything well and I felt very comfortable on board. It was very clean and there were plenty of things to do during the crossing. I would definitely recommend this trip to others.

I travelled from Calais to Dover with my family that day as we wanted to visit relatives in England. The ferry connection was the best option for us: fast, flexible and a pleasant break from the car journey. We had considered the Eurotunnel, but decided on the ferry because we wanted to enjoy the crossing together, and boarding by car went smoothly - the check-in was well organised and the staff friendly. We didn't need a cabin as the crossing was very short at around 30 minutes and we felt safe on board. The ferry appeared well maintained and clean and the toilets were in good condition. We travelled at midday (departure 14:20), a very pleasant time, and the ferry was on time.the comfort was absolutely adequate for the short duration, there was plenty of seating. The children found it practical to be able to run around on board. Drinks and snacks were available, we treated ourselves to coffee and small snacks - tasty, but quite expensive, and the service staff were polite and helpful. We paid around €120 for the whole family with a car, which we think is fair value for money, especially as the connection was very reliable.
