Often overcrowdedThe journey from Mannheim to Heidelberg is super fast. You don't have to change trains once. Often there are no seats. The seats are very comfortable and the small rubbish bin next to them is really practical, which keeps the whole thing clean. The toilets have always been clean so far.

The seats are not that comfortable as they are often dirty and you don't know what happened. From a scale of one to 10, I would give a 5 when it comes to hygiene and comfort. The service is good, the ticket inspectors are very friendly. The prices for a ticket are pleasant. I have a monthly pass, so I am not forced to pay for a ticket every day.
