The train journey from Mannheim to Berlin was okay overall. The train was on time and comfortable, but unfortunately the price was not as good as I expected. There could have been a better price-performance ratio. The seats were comfortable and there was enough legroom. The compartment was clean and tidy, but there could have been a bit more storage space for luggage. The train was well equipped, with toilets and a sales area for snacks and drinks. Travelling by train is usually a good option if you want to save the environment and save time, but on this trip I felt I expected more for the price. Overall, it was a pleasant journey, but I think I will consider a different travel option next time if I need better value for money.
Advantages
Iconvery polite staff
My train arrived on time and I also arrived on time. I was very happy with the wifi. The heaters were on because it was very cold outside, but it was hot inside. The train looked very nice from the inside as well as from the outside. My coffee cappuccino was very tasty and very cheap for its performance. The staff were very polite and especially nice to the children. I was always informed where I was at the moment, which I thought was great. The train arrived on time and my train ticket was not expensive. Since everything was positive, I'll pass on the trip. Great trip!

My train arrived on time. The staff tried to fulfil the passengers' wishes. I especially liked the fact that I was always informed about where I was at the moment. I really liked the fact that it wasn't just me who liked the journey, but that everyone I spoke to was happy with the journey. You could also book something in advance via the app, which was great. The ride was also relatively cheap. I can gladly recommend the ride to others, as it was also very easy to fall asleep. Great ride!
Advantages
Iconkind staff
I travelled in 1st class. My ticket was neither expensive nor cheap, but it was definitely worth it for the service and that is the reason why I can recommend the trip. What I liked most was that the staff were very nice and also performed well and especially that when it came to service. The toilets were also very clean. I was able to charge my phone at my seat as there were several power outlets and also my seat was very comfortable. The ride gets 5 stars.

Disadvantages
IconTrain delay
On this trip, too, DB lived up to its reputation of being late most of the time. However, this was not a big deal, as the rest of the train journey was very pleasant. My seat was equipped with a power socket and there was also wifi. It wasn't very transmitting, but it was sufficient. The seat was very comfortable and as I was wearing headphones, I didn't notice the noise. The service was nice and I had no problems with the reservation. In addition, my seat was clean and I felt comfortable. The price-performance ratio was acceptable for this long distance.
Advantages
IconHeaters
My journey in 1st class was great. It was very quiet on the train and the atmosphere was great. The journey didn't feel that long, even though it took 5 hours, as I felt very comfortable because the staff had taken care of the passengers the whole time. The services were also great as my food was delicious and delivered quickly. I also particularly liked the wifi. What I found great was that I was always informed about where I was. I can recommend the trip to anyone. In addition, my train arrived on time and my ticket was cheap. I would also like to mention that the toilets were clean.
