The journey was okay, but unfortunately nothing more. The train arrived 10 minutes late, which I could cope with. Seats were available, but quite dirty. On the plus side, the air conditioning worked and the connection was direct. There wasn't really any service, but at least I arrived. It could be better!

There is a direct connection from Leipzig to Berlin without changing trains. The ticket price for this was not very expensive either. However, my seat on the train was very dirty. The table top in particular was left dirty. But the toilets looked hygienic. The staff were very friendly and carried out a quick ticket check. There were also plenty of power sockets and a stable internet connection. The train had not been late this time.

I opted for this connection because I wanted to spontaneously spend a weekend in Berlin. With a BahnCard 25, I paid €22.49, which I think is a bit expensive, even though I booked quite spontaneously. However, it is quite remarkable that it only takes just over an hour. The same journey would take about three times as long by regional train. The train was well maintained and the wifi worked.

My journey on the ICE 696 was very satisfactory. The journey was quiet and pleasant. The seats were comfortable and the compartment offered enough space. The train toilets were clean and the overall cleanliness of the train was very good. I particularly liked the train climate - it was neither too cold nor too hot. The train staff were friendly and supportive. The wifi connection was reliable, which made it easy for me to work while travelling.

Unfortunately, the train journey was delayed, which was a bit annoying. The wifi on the train was really good. I was able to surf, write messages and even stream videos without any problems. That made the waiting time a little more bearable. The connection was also stable throughout the journey. Although I arrived later than planned, the good internet connection helped me to make good use of the time. Overall 4 stars.

The journey was pleasant overall. The connection was practical and the journey was comfortable, with cosy seats, a quiet atmosphere and a really nice view along the way. The wifi worked reliably and the price-performance ratio was also okay. There was an on-board bistro, which I always appreciate on longer journeys. Less positive was the friendliness of the on-board staff, I would have liked a little more courtesy. The train also arrived 10 minutes late. Nevertheless, a solid journey.

The seats offered good comfort and I was able to make good use of the journey. The attentive and helpful on-board staff contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the toilet was not in the best condition, which affected the comfort somewhat. The journey was smooth and uneventful, and the arrival was almost on time. I found the pleasant train temperature and the relaxed carriage atmosphere to be particularly positive.

I was satisfied overall. The train arrived on time, the connection was direct and the price was absolutely fine. There was enough space and I was able to read in peace. There was a working power socket at the seat and wifi worked well most of the time. The only downside was the cleanliness of the toilet, which could have been looked after better. Nevertheless, a relaxed journey without stress. I would use this connection again.

Unfortunately, the return journey was not quite as good. Although the seat was comfortable, the toilets were dirty and the wifi was barely usable. The service was poor and there was no bistro. It was quite loud in the carriage as a group was talking all the time. At least the train was on time and there were no changes. The view was fine. Compared to the car, this time it was rather annoying and not really relaxing. I expected more for the price

A few weeks ago, I travelled via ICE from Leipzig to Berlin. The journey was quite relaxing due to the comfortable seats and air conditioning. The toilets were also clean and everything had a good level of hygiene! Unfortunately, the wifi kept going down. I had to make a change to another train unfortunately and we also had to deal with some delay. The price is okay.
Advantages
IconA good experience made
Disadvantages
IconI could not experience anything negative
The journey from Leipzig to Berlin Hauptbahnhof was smooth. From the booking to the last stop. The staff were very friendly and pleasant, it was quiet and there was plenty of comfort on the train. During the journey it was wonderful to watch the scenery, there was a snack bar, wifi and electricity on the train. The toilet was clean and neatly designed. There was enough space so that you didn't feel cramped during the journey. I really liked this connection and would therefore like to recommend it.
Advantages
IconVery relaxed train connection
Disadvantages
IconOften unpunctual
I use this connection very often, as it is my way to work. The train is often unpunctual, for which I can only give four stars. However, I quickly reached the main station. It is definitely quicker than being stuck in a traffic jam by car. It takes me just under 40 minutes to get there. Unfortunately, there is no wifi and no electricity on the train. But there is a fresh air supply and enough light. The toilets are clean and the ticket is relatively cheap. It's definitely a quick route from Leipzig to Berlin central station.

IconService
My train journey from Leipzig to Berlin was mostly positive and enjoyable. There were some outstanding aspects that enriched my experience. The food options on the train were varied and the food and drinks were of good quality. The train staff were friendly and helpful. They were available to answer questions and ensured that my stay on the train was comfortable and safe. The train itself was comfortable and well equipped. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space for luggage. The cleanliness on the train was good and the sanitary facilities were in acceptable condition. Departure and arrival were on time, which made planning and organisation easier. The train journey went smoothly and without any major delays. The scenery along the route was beautiful. I could enjoy picturesque views of green meadows, forests and rivers. It was a pleasant change from the urban hustle and bustle. However, the service was a bit unfriendly and harsh. Overall, my train journey from Leipzig to Berlin was a positive experience. The comfort, beautiful scenery, friendly train staff and on-time departure all contributed to making the journey enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this train route.

I recently travelled from Leipzig to Berlin Central Station. The price of this train journey totally convinced me! It was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent as the staff were very friendly and accommodating. One negative point of this trip was the facilities. The wifi didn't work and there were no power sockets either. However, the entire ICE was very clean and hygienic.
Advantages
IconVery clean on the train
IconCourteous staff
IconDelicious on-board bistro
Disadvantages
IconTrain very full
I am basically very satisfied with my journey from Leipzig to Berlin. The only drawback was that the train was relatively very full. Otherwise, the train staff were in a very good mood and made a very friendly impression on me. The train was decently cleaned and the rubbish bins were emptied. During the journey, I went to Sport Bistro to get a coffee and eat a small tarte flambée. I personally found the price-performance ratio in Bordbistro to be very coherent. All in all, a very good journey with punctual departure and arrival.

The train was freshly cleaned and there were no unpleasant smells. It was not dusty. I didn't see any of the staff except the ticket inspector. The train took a little while to start. There was a power socket where I could charge my mobile phone. Nevertheless, I would recommend the trip.

The trip was nice. I always had wifi, a power socket and a bin. The seats were comfortable and the volume was pleasant. I didn't have food unfortunately, yet the staff was nice. I had a reservation. The train was very clean and sanitised inside. The seats were not dusty and there were no crumbs there. The cleanliness of the toilets was also adequate. Unfortunately, there was no one there to provide food. Also, it took a long time for the train to leave. I was able to charge my mobile phone.

The train journey was really very nice. I always had wifi and even two power sockets. The seats were really comfortable. They were very soft. Only unfortunately it was very noisy. I found that a pity. But I did get food from the staff. They were very friendly and even talked to me. I had a reservation option and received information. Fortunately, the toilets were clean. I did not have to change trains. The train also arrived on time. The price-performance ratio is OK. I would possibly buy the ticket again.

IconThe toilets were reasonably clean
Disadvantages
IconThe service
IconJourney duration was too long
IconToo expensive
The train journey from Berlin to Leipzig was unfortunately disappointing. The wifi barely worked, the service wasn't particularly friendly and the seats were uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the seats left a lot to be desired and the toilets weren't exactly clean either. Added to this was the poor price-performance ratio and the long journey time. All in all, it was an unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this train journey to anyone.
Advantages
IconFast travelling time
Disadvantages
IconUnpunctual departure
IconWifi is very poor
Travelling by ICE to Berlin is always pleasant. However, the internet connection is very poor during the journey. This often makes working very difficult. If you have a seat, the journey is pleasant and comfortable. Sometimes the trains depart late.
Advantages
IconFast connection
IconUsable at any time
Disadvantages
IconSometimes too late
IconSeat reservation usually necessary
I can only recommend the journey between Leipzig and Berlin, there is a power socket between the seat to charge a laptop, for example. The wifi connection in the ICE was also great, you could work in peace. Occasionally the connection was poor. However, this was due to the network and is completely fine. The staff were friendly and the connection is also super easy as you don't have to change trains. On my journey, the toilet was clean and the staff were very friendly.
