Leipzig to Munich train with Deutsche Bahn (ICE,RE,IC)

Was pleasantly surprised. The train was clean, punctual and quiet. I had a window seat with plenty of legroom. Wifi was stable and the coffee from the on-board bistro wasn't too bad. There is a small deduction for the non-functioning power socket at my seat, which was a bit annoying. I can recommend it!

I didn't have to change trains from Leipzig to Munich. Unfortunately, the journey also took longer because there was a track closure, so we arrived in Munich 50 minutes later than planned. The internet didn't work on the train either. Otherwise, the seats were very comfortable and there were plenty of power sockets. The staff were very friendly and apologised for the inconvenience. The ticket was also not expensive for the long journey. I can still recommend the journey.

I opted for this connection when visiting family, although there was also a direct train. However, the journey time on this connection was shorter, despite having to change trains. Both trains were clean, the wifi worked and there was an on-board restaurant. For €35.99 with a BahnCard 25, this is a connection worth recommending.

All in all, better than travelling by car after a long weekend.

The service was good, the staff were nice. I was able to charge my mobile phone thanks to a socket at the seat. It was also very quiet on the train. I am happy to pass on this trip.
