I travelled to Mannheim for a training course. The train arrived very punctually and wasn't too full, so I got a good seat without a reservation. Unfortunately, the train was very smelly, which made the journey a bit unpleasant. It was probably due to the dirty toilets. The staff on the train were very nice. The prices in the bistro are unfortunately very expensive.

My journey took place in August. With the high outside temperatures, it was a real relief that the train was well air-conditioned. The atmosphere in the carriage was calm, which allowed me to relax, read and enjoy the journey. The train crew were nice and regularly checked on me. However, one disadvantage was that the wifi was very unreliable, which made working on the move a little more difficult.

One small disruptive factor for me was that my compartment was relatively full and this caused a certain amount of unrest. Despite all this, the train journey was pleasant overall. I sat by the window and was able to enjoy the view. The seats were comfortable and boarding was also easy. I found it particularly positive that the train was on time despite the crowds and that the announcements could be clearly understood.

As soon as I boarded in Berlin, I was greeted by friendly staff, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The seats were very comfortable and offered enough space for me to relax and enjoy the journey. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the entire train - this immediately created a feeling of trust and well-being. Throughout the journey, the staff were attentive and helpful, so I always felt well looked after. The journey also ran smoothly, including the changeover, and there were no significant delays. The price-performance ratio of this connection is really convincing and makes the Berlin-Mannheim route a real recommendation for anyone who wants to travel comfortably and cheaply. Great journey with the Flx10 from Flixtrain.

Overall, the train journey was very pleasant. Even with my large rucksack, I had enough space and the seats were comfortable for the longer journey. The pleasant dimmed lighting was ideal for relaxing. I had the opportunity to read a book in peace and the outside surroundings offered a varied scenery. There were also no crowds when boarding and everything was quiet. The announcements were made in a friendly and clear tone. Everything happened at the right time. Unfortunately, the wifi only worked to a limited extent this time.

I had to travel from Berlin to Mannheim on business. I chose the ICE for this journey and changed trains in Frankfurt. My train was on time and I had wifi and an on-board bistro. The train was empty and I didn't have to reserve a seat. Deutsche Bahn, on time, they are an ideal way to travel within Germany. The Deutsche Bahn staff were all very nice and courteous.

I travelled from Berlin to Mannheim in the morning on the FlixTrain and was really very happy with my journey overall. The booking was straightforward and I was greeted warmly by the staff as soon as I boarded. The seats were comfortable and offered enough space, even for longer journeys, and the train was clean and tidy. I particularly liked the favourable price and the fact that the train arrived on time in Mannheim, which gave me planning security. The only small negative point was that the wifi connection was sometimes unstable and I didn't always have a good connection. In addition, the temperature in the carriage was not optimally regulated, sometimes a little too warm, sometimes too cool. Nevertheless, I was very happy with my trip overall!

My train journey was really pleasant overall. The carriage was clean, the seats were comfortable and I had enough space to work. I was particularly pleased that the train was on time, which is not always a given. The wifi worked surprisingly well, even if it sometimes went down for a short time. One small drawback was the noise level in the compartment, as some fellow travellers were on the phone quite loudly. Nevertheless, the journey was relaxed and stress-free. I would definitely do it again.

The train arrived on time, which was a good thing. Unfortunately, the carriage was extremely full and some of the reservations were double booked, but I didn't have any myself. The air was bad because hardly anyone could open a window. It was fine for a short journey, but on longer journeys I would like more space and functioning reservations.

I was very happy with this journey. I travelled in the afternoon and the train was pleasantly empty. The lighting in the carriage was discreet and not too bright, which suited me very well. I was able to read without straining my eyes. I particularly liked the consistently quiet atmosphere in the carriage, many passengers were asleep or working quietly. The departure was on time, the train ran smoothly and without jolting. For me, it was a relaxed and restful journey, which is exactly how I imagine it.

The train ride from Berlin to Mannheim was a solid experience overall. It was obvious that many people wanted to use this connection and finding a free seat was a challenge as most seats were reserved. The train was also unfortunately delayed, which was annoying. Nevertheless, there were some positive aspects to note. The toilets on the train were surprisingly clean and well maintained, which was thoughtful. The staff were polite and helpful during the journey, which made the trip more enjoyable. Another plus point was the ticket price, which was reasonable and affordable. Overall, the train journey was not perfect, but the cleanliness of the toilets, the friendly staff and the fair ticket price improved the overall impression.

IconCatering
My train journey from Berlin to Mannheim was unfortunately disappointing. The train was not only delayed but also overcrowded, resulting in an uncomfortable and crowded seat. The cleanliness on the train also left a lot to be desired as there were some dirty areas. The train staff were unhelpful and barely present. If there were any questions or problems, you felt let down. In addition, the selection of snacks and drinks was limited and overpriced. The cleanliness of the toilets was unfortunately also somewhat neglected and the toilets smelled a bit disgusting. The provision of power sockets, on the other hand, was okay Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the train connection from Berlin to Mannheim, as it lacks reliability, comfort and good service. There are certainly better travel options to cover this distance.

It was a great ride. The food was very tasty, there was also vegan food. It was very comfortable at the seat. The train was very nice and you had a beautiful view from the train. The staff were very nice and hygiene was taken care of. It was also very quiet on the train. The internet was good. I recommend this trip. There were no changes and there were no emergency changes. The journey took about five hours.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconWifi with occasional hangs
The plan was to travel to Mannheim on Thursday, which worked out very well, and then return to Berlin on Tuesday. Then, however, the threatened strike intervened at short notice, which fortunately was resolved, so that I was able to depart normally and on time on Tuesday. The timetable had also completely returned to normal, so the journey to Berlin was very relaxed with an upgrade to first class. A short delay of about 10 minutes after Frankfurt was made up for without any problems. As I travelled during the day this time and the train was a little more crowded than on my night journey, the wifi wasn't quite as great as before, but was still good to use. The sanitary facilities were clean and there were also sufficient supplies of consumables such as paper and soap. The train staff was again remarkably friendly and the service in the on-board restaurant was top. Therefore, for my return journey, I again gave the train 5 stars, but I would also like to point out that it was a journey in first class.

Was a quick trip. I was able to book online as well as from the location. There was free wifi and power sockets the whole way. In terms of cosiness, the seats were really very comfortable. The journey was very nice on the train, was very clean and spacious, people were very friendly, I went to the toilet and found a very hygienic environment, there was no internal defect, then I sat down, I slept and the journey was good, thanks to all the workers. I travelled in first class and my train also arrived on time. What is also very worth mentioning is the atmosphere on the train, as it was great. I can only pass on this trip.

I really enjoyed the journey from Berlin to Mannheim (my outward journey), as everything struck me as positive. I especially liked how comfortable it was on the train. The train was also very clean. The train arrived at its destination pretty much on time. It was only about 5-10 minutes late. The train was relatively full, which is why I reserved a seat in advance. I travelled in first class and found the DB staff very nice. The biscuits they gave out tasted great, but unfortunately I only got 2. I also like the fact that you can charge your tablet during the journey.

Deutsche Bahn operates the majority of long-distance routes in Germany with its IC and ICE trains. My journey from Berlin in the north-east of Germany to the south-west to Mannheim in Baden-Württemberg on an ICE was very pleasant and safe. The cleanliness of the seats and toilets was very good. The on-board bistro has a good selection at good prices and with nice service. I can always recommend travelling on the ICE.
