While the train quality and comfort were satisfactory, these positive aspects were diminished by the repeated delays and lack of communication from the train staff. I travelled second class on the ICE 1107 from Frankfurt Airport to Mannheim and can only report positively about this connection. The journey took exactly half an hour, which is very short. The service on board was great, with coffee and chocolate served at the seat. The train was in a clean and well-maintained condition, one felt very comfortable. There were no delays.

So I could sit down quite relaxed and didn't have to worry about anything else. The on-board bistro was also very good and the staff were friendly. In my opinion, the toilets could have been a bit cleaner, but the overall look of the train was clean.

After arriving at Frankfurt Airport, we were able to change trains seamlessly from Frankfurt to Mannheim, and the train was clean and departed on time. We were also able to connect to the free wifi without any problems and check a few emails. The train then arrived on time at Mannheim main station. Gladly again!

The train arrived at the main station on time and also departed on time. There were no difficulties boarding the train, the train crew made sure that all passengers had boarded. The seats on the train were fine and comfortable enough for a long journey. The toilet facilities were well equipped, with soap and sanitiser available. The train staff greeted the passengers and were friendly. I reached my destination on time and had a relaxed journey.
