The train journey from Frankfurt am Main Airport long-distance station to Hamburg was very comfortable overall. The seats were comfortable and offered enough space for the passengers. There was enough luggage storage to stow luggage safely. Carriages were well insulated so noise from outside was barely audible. Overall, the comfort during the train journey on this route was very satisfactory.
Advantages
IconPunctual
Disadvantages
IconCleanliness
The ICE to HH arrived on time. On a positive note, we had just 5 stops, which minimised the journey time enormously. We reached our destination in about 3 1/2 hours. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not particularly good. Otherwise, the facilities were fine. There was wifi, power sockets, an on-board bistro and nice conductors. The price was a bit too high for me. Otherwise everything was great.
