We left Copenhagen on time. Unfortunately, a train ahead of us broke down, so ours was massively overcrowded. Accordingly, there were hardly any seats. So we were forced to sit on the floor for over 3 hours until we changed trains in Flensburg. It was an odyssey.

Cons
IconRail replacement service
IconMany transfers
IconHardly any wifi in Denmark
Construction work in Denmark made my journey from Copenhagen's Sydhavn district to Hamburg more difficult - I had to change trains three times in total! The trains in Denmark seem to me to be a little more cramped than in Germany, and the wifi is also more limited, if available at all. Power sockets are also in short supply. I couldn't find a toilet on the S-Bahn, nor on the bus of the rail replacement service. Only on the Intercity from Korsoer did I find one that was okay. I was impressed by the multilingual announcements made by the train staff on the IC and the fantastic view as we travelled over the Great Belt. Without construction work on a direct train, the journey is more worthwhile, especially with an early-booked rail fare.
Pro
IconSpacious seats
Cons
IconCleanliness
IconOvercrowded
On my train journey from Copenhagen to Hamburg, I enjoyed the comfort of Deutsche Bahn: Spacious seats and nice staff. It was dirty in my carriage. There were beer bottles and newspapers on the floor. The journey was longer than expected. The service was solid, but the price-performance ratio was not right.
Pro
IconSimple booking
Cons
IconWeak internet
Despite the weak wifi, I found the journey great because I was able to book the ticket easily and cheaply online. I also thought it was great that I didn't have to change trains and therefore reached my destination very quickly. I also liked the clean toilets.
Pro
IconPunctuality
Cons
IconNothing
I would like to start by saying that the train was very punctual. The staff were able to help me with a problem and acted very calmly. The sanitary facilities were mostly clean, although some of the toilets had disgusting faeces. To cut a long story short, I would definitely recommend the trip and give it five stars. Fortunately, it was not necessary to change trains.
Pro

IconNo change
Cons
IconToo expensive
What I really liked about the journey from Copenhagen was that I quickly found a ticket online that didn't require me to change trains. Payment was also flawless, but the ticket was quite expensive. Nevertheless, the journey was good and pleasant, as I reached my destination quite quickly. I also thought it was great that the wifi worked for the most part and the toilets were clean.

Cons
Icon-
The staff were very friendly to me. The journey took around 5 hours and from hour 3 I found the seats uncomfortable. But after a short "walk" I was fine again. There was a power socket and I was able to relax and work on my laptop because it was quiet on the train. The train itself was in a well-cleaned condition. The toilet was relatively clean, but smelled very unpleasant. We arrived at our destination station on time.
Pro
IconFast arrival
Cons
IconDirty toilets
This journey from Copenhagen to Hamburg really impressed me because I was able to book the ticket online and it was very cheap. It was also great that I was able to reach my destination in no time at all and didn't have to change trains. I was also particularly impressed by the good wifi, which meant I could watch films throughout the journey. Nevertheless, I found it a shame that the toilets were messy.

IconUnfortunately 10 minutes too late
We arrived at our destination station, Hamburg Hbf, about 10 minutes late. The train staff were very friendly. The train was clean and in good condition, the seats were comfortable and the toilet was also very clean. Power sockets were available to charge my mobile phone. I didn't have to change trains and the journey took just under 5 hours. It was very pleasant that the train was very quiet.

What struck me immediately was that the staff were always friendly and helpful and made every effort to make the journey as pleasant as possible.
