I travelled from Vienna via Nuremberg to Hamburg at 11:15. The connection between Vienna and Nuremberg was extremely congested. The on-board bistro was unfortunately closed, you could only buy cold drinks. Some toilets were out of order and free seats were unfortunately no longer available. I travelled to Nuremberg in the full on-board bistro. Due to the delay, I missed my connection and took the next ICE to Hamburg, which fortunately still had free seats. I arrived in Hamburg half an hour late. The change in Nuremberg was smooth and directly at the opposite track. Delays and the next connections are always communicated on the train.

Disadvantages
IconThe train was a little bit late
I travelled from Viena to Hamburg on 20.07.2022. The train was full, but luckily I had booked a seat. The journey was ok and the restaurant is very nice and fast. The staff are very friendly, but the toilet is quite dirty and no one fills the toilet paper, but overall is good.
Advantages
IconVery comfortable and plenty of space
IconWifi and electricity available
IconDirect connection
Disadvantages
IconDelay
IconNot clean
Wifi and sockets were available, although the wifi was very weak, so watching films, for example, was not very easy, the train staff were very friendly and present from the beginning and always asked if you wanted anything. Although I was sitting in the mobile phone area, it was actually very quiet and very pleasant. I sat in 1st class. The seats are very comfortable. The only thing missing is a better headrest if you want to sleep. The toilets were OK. The train was on time except for a few minutes. The 1st class ticket was cheaper than the 2nd class ticket. But you couldn't make a seat reservation as there were no seats left. The journey itself was very pleasant on the train
