Booking ÖBB Tickets with Omio

Booking ÖBB tickets with Omio is easy, simply put in your departing and arriving city, as well as the date you want to travel and then we'll do all the hard work! We find all the possible routes not only for ÖBB but other Italian train companies. Allowing you to pick the best option for your journey.

Once you've purchased your ticket, we'll send you an email confirming your booking as well informing you if you have a mobile ticket or if you need to print out a ticket before your board.

Then if you have any troubles along the way, our English-speaking customer service is there to help you.

ÖBB Ticket Types

  • Standard Ticket: Valid for 2 days after purchase, and free to reimburse before the first day of validity.
  • Comfort-Ticket:
  • Valid for the chosen day and/or on the night train selected. Free refund 15 days before travel and 50% refund before the chosen day of travel.
  • ÖBB Sparschiene-Ticket: Cheapest ticket offered by OBB. Must be used on the chosen day of travel and on the chosen train. Tickets are non-refundable.
  • ÖBB Sparschiene Comfort-Ticket: Must be used on the chosen day of travel and on the chosen train. Free refund 15 days before travel and 50% refund before the chosen day of travel.

ÖBB Class Types

With OBB there are three class types

  • Economy Class: A choice between open carriages and compartments, Luggage Racks, WiFi, Electric Outlets, Air Conditioning.
  • First Class: Adjustable seats, More legroom, Cabin Service, Luggage Racks, WiFi, Electic Outlets.
  • Business Class: Largest space of legroom, Folding tables, Reading lamps, Wi-Fi, Personal Electrical Outlets, Cabin Service.
