My train was on time, but unfortunately very full. This makes you feel less safe at the station and on the train when it's so crowded.
Thanks to my reservation, however, I had a seat. The staff were very friendly and courteous.
If the trains are on time and not so full, Deutsche Bahn is a real alternative.

There was an on-board bistro on the train where you can buy a coffee, which is very commendable. The staff are courteous and friendly. Unfortunately, the toilets on the train were a bit clogged, but that didn't bother me, as you're already at your destination after 3 hours.

Good price only with early bookingThe journey from Mannheim to Munich on the ICE took a whole 4 hours instead of the 3 hours I had previously said.
