The train journey turned out to be pleasant, which was surprising. As soon as you boarded, you noticed the calm atmosphere that extended throughout the journey. The seats combined just the right mix of firmness and comfort, making them ideal for prolonged sitting. The large windows provided a wonderful view of the countryside as the train travelled along at a steady pace. The staff were particularly pleasant, unobtrusive and friendly

My train journey from Stuttgart to Heidelberg was very pleasant overall. I was pleasantly surprised by the favourable price, especially considering the quality on offer. The train was on time, clean and at a pleasant temperature - neither too cold nor too hot. I particularly enjoyed the route, as I could really enjoy the view en route. Everything seemed well organised and relaxed. The only downside was the unstable wifi connection, which was repeatedly interrupted. Nevertheless, I was very satisfied with the trip and would recommend it at any time. A great trip!

The train journey from Stuttgart to Heidelberg was very pleasant and efficient overall. I was particularly impressed by the favourable price and the helpful, friendly staff. The seats were comfortable, offered enough space and made the short journey very comfortable. Another positive aspect was the free wifi, which was stable and great for working. Power sockets were also available at the seats, which is particularly practical when using a laptop or mobile phone for long periods. Despite the many advantages, I noticed that the cleanliness of the train was not entirely satisfactory - the tables and toilets could have been cleaner. Nevertheless, the positive impression prevails and I would travel this route again at any time.

My journey on the FlixTrain from Stuttgart to Heidelberg at midday was pleasant and relaxing overall - perfect for the start of my holiday. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the train: the seats, windows and sanitary facilities were well maintained and made a hygienic impression. The free wifi also worked reliably, which pleasantly shortened my journey time. The temperatures on the train were very well regulated, neither too hot nor too cool - an important point, especially when travelling in summer. Another highlight was the friendly and helpful staff, who created a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, the train arrived in Heidelberg a little late, which spoilt the first impression somewhat. Nevertheless, the positive experiences outweighed the negative ones for me and I would choose the FlixTrain route again.

We travelled to Heidelberg at the beginning of January to spend a relaxing weekend and thought we'd take the Deutsche Bahn because of the parking situation. Unfortunately, our 1-hour journey turned into a 3-hour journey. Due to strict closures, we had to wait over 2 hours on the railway track for the next train. On the train itself, the staff were very friendly and really lightened the mood and tried to apologise with a few small apologies from the catering staff

I travelled from Stuttgart to Heidelberg on the IC 118 in second class. The journey itself went smoothly and was relaxed. The staff on board were eager and always friendly and polite. I travelled from Stuttgart to Heidelberg on the ICE 118, for which I reserved a seat. I travelled second class, but I didn't mind because the train was extremely comfortable. Otherwise, I can recommend this connection.

The journey from Stuttgart to Heidelberg was on the ICE 118, in second class. I reserved a seat and didn't regret it, because the train was relatively full that day. I would particularly like to emphasise that the seats were extremely comfortable and ergonomic.

I travelled from Stuttgart to Heidelberg on the IC 118, occupying second class. The journey was relatively relaxed and the train was on time for the entire journey. I had reserved a seat and it was free. It was a warm day, but luckily the air conditioning worked. What didn't work, unfortunately, was the toilet in my carriage. I had to resort to a toilet in the other carriage.

I travelled from Stuttgart to Heidelberg on the IC 118. The journey was in second class, I reserved a seat. The journey time was less than an hour, so it was very short. The train was not delayed. I travelled from Stuttgart to Heidelberg on the IC 118 in second class. I made a reservation, which I didn't need because the train was not full. It was a short journey, shorter than by car. The train was not very well maintained, it could be described as worn out. There were no delays. The service was fine. There was no wifi on board.

I took the IC 118 from Stuttgart to Heidelberg. I reserved a seat, which I didn't regret because the train was relatively full. It was a very quick journey, about 30 minutes. The train left Stuttgart on time and arrived in Heidelberg on time. However, it was a bit dirty on the train and the floor was sticky in places. I don't remember the train having wifi.

IconFriendly staff
Disadvantages
IconBad wifi in my wagon
The journey was pleasant and fast. However, I had no connection to the wifi in my carriage. The power outlet worked well and the toilets were clean. The price-performance ratio was very good. As it was a direct connection from Stuttgart to Heidelberg, there was no need to change trains between these places.
Advantages
IconI did not have to change
Disadvantages
IconDelay
I travel by train more often, but often only book direct trains, as there are often delays and then you get stressed. This journey ended up being 21 minutes late. Everything on the train was clean and the staff were friendly. I can't say anything about the toilets as I didn't use any and I don't think there was any wifi as it was an EC.
