For a family visit near Stuttgart, I decided to take the ICE train again. Both the outward and return journeys are simply quicker and more comfortable by train due to the distance. It is convenient to check in directly at your seat, so there is no need to check your ticket and you can use the on-board entertainment or simply relax without being disturbed.

One of our main customers is based in Stuttgart, which is why I often commute from Stuttgart to Munich. The train arrived very punctually and was not full, even though I was travelling in the morning. Unfortunately, there was a very unpleasant odour, which gave me a headache. The price-performance ratio for the connection is very good. There was a bistro on board and very clean toilet facilities. The staff were also very nice.

I took the train from Stuttgart to Munich a long time ago to see the mountain region, which is why I travelled by Deutsche Bahn. Everything went smoothly, except for the 30-minute delay on the way to Munich. I booked the ticket some time in advance via the website and it worked really well. I travelled at lunchtime and found the journey very relaxing as it was very quiet. There was also wifi on board, so I was able to watch lots of different films and series. The service was very attentive, with attendants walking through the train and selling coffee. Finally, the train was also very clean, so the toilets were very pleasant to use. Overall a positive experience!

We always use Deutsche Bahn for our city trips. The train arrived very punctually and was very tidy. It still looked quite new. My friend used the toilet and said it was very clean. Unfortunately, the ticket was a bit expensive. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant journey.

Everything went smoothly for the most part. I had a lot of luggage with me, but there was enough room for it. The journey was quiet and pleasant, only the announcements were sometimes difficult to understand. Wifi was available, but not always stable. Overall, a solid and relaxed connection with minor weaknesses.

The train journey was pleasant. I had a clean seat with plenty of legroom and the air conditioning was pleasantly adjusted. The train was almost on time, which I would like to emphasise as a positive. The staff were friendly and helpful. Less good was the weak wifi, which was constantly interrupted. I also thought it was a shame that the on-board bistro was closed. Nevertheless, it was a relaxed journey where almost everything went well.

I really enjoyed the journey from Stuttgart to Munich Airport in first class. The train was pleasantly quiet and the seats offered enough space for me to stretch out. I had several power sockets at my seat, so I was able to charge my mobile phone and laptop during the journey. The wifi worked perfectly throughout. The staff were friendly and helped immediately when asked. The service was great. The connection was punctual, which made my onward journey at the airport much easier. Overall, it was a relaxed journey where everything went well.

The train from Stuttgart to Munich was not very busy, but it was very noisy in the passenger compartment, so I couldn't relax. This train had also accumulated a delay of 20 minutes to Munich. The seats were otherwise comfortable and there was an internet connection and power sockets on the train. The on-board restaurant was open and the service on the train was good. The toilets and corridors were also very clean. I didn't have to change trains here. My ticket was also very reasonably priced. I can still recommend the journey.

I've travelled this route several times before, but this time it was particularly pleasant. No changes, a quiet compartment and a nice view in between. The air conditioning worked well and the cleanliness was excellent. There was no on-board bistro, but I was prepared. The seating comfort was good, only the power sockets could have been better placed. Compared to the car, it was much more relaxed and faster. An almost perfect journey for me.
Advantages
Iconvery favourable
It's incredible how cheap this trip was. It's simply amazing for a journey in 1st class and 2 people for only €75.80. I also liked everything. The train arrived on time and was also very clean. I had good wifi and a power socket at my seat. The noise level on the train was low. The staff were very friendly, correct and there were many menus. The food was also delicious. The toilets were also clean. For all the positive reasons, I can only recommend the trip. Great ride and incredibly cheap.
Advantages
IconThe observance of hygiene
I made this trip because I was flying from Munich airport. The wifi was super good. The staff tried very hard and did their job perfectly. Attention was paid to hygiene. The food was very tasty and also looked appealing. There was plenty of room. I definitely recommend the trip. It gets 5 out of 5 stars. In addition, the toilets were clean and the train arrived on time. My ticket was a bit expensive, but the service was great.
Advantages
IconVery modern train.
I took this train ride because I was flying from Munich airport. The train looked very modern and was also very beautiful. The view from the window was also very nice. What I found very very great was that the heaters worked without any problems, otherwise I would have been cold, as it was very cold at the time. I also really liked the service because it was very fast. In addition, my train arrived very punctually and waited until all passengers had boarded inside. For a journey in first class and two people, 75 € is very very good. I think you can already imagine that I can definitely recommend the trip. I can also only rate it five out of five stars, as the price-performance ratio was also top. Great ride!
Advantages
IconPunctuality
I took this trip because I was flying from Munich airport. My train arrived on time and the staff were very motivated, which in turn improved my mood. My journey was in 1st class and I felt totally comfortable during the journey as there was no noise on the train, or baby crying in general. I could use the toilets and there were several toilets, all of them were clean. There was also a lot of attention paid to hygiene. The service food was delicious. For all the reasons, 5 stars and a recommendation.
Advantages
IconVery good wifi
I drove this trip because I flew from Munich airport and it was great. There were no negative things, only positive things, and I would like to say in advance that I can therefore recommend it. The best thing of all was my wifi, I had no problems at all and was able to make calls and download everything. I was also very impressed by the service, which was really great (speed, etc.). In addition, my ticket was really very cheap for two people and a trip in first class. The staff also smiled at me when I got on the train, which improved my mood. In general, I definitely deserved five out of five stars.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
My train arrived on time and it had wifi. My seat was very comfortable and I had a power socket on my seat. It was quiet on the train and I had been given a plaster for no sore. The staff were very nice and the food was delicious. The toilets were clean. I can definitely recommend it as my ticket was cheap.
Advantages
Iconnice employees
I went on this trip because I was flying from Munich airport. The atmosphere was great and so was the view. The staff were very nice and built up a lot of conversations, for example they talked to me about my flight. The services were great and my wifi was good. I didn't have to change trains and my train was on time. I can recommend it. In addition, my ticket was relatively cheap. Finally, I want to mention that the journey didn't feel that long.
Advantages
IconAir conditioning
Disadvantages
IconNarrow smoking zone
It was a super ride. The first thing I want to mention is the only negative, and that is that the smoking area was too cramped, the thing I have to mention is that the staff were so blatantly nice waiting and not smoking so that the passengers had space in the smoking area. That was a hero move by the sympathetic staff. The service was great and very fast. There was also air conditioning to keep us warm, which was great. My ticket was also good value . The biggest reason why I recommend the ride is that the toilets were very clean. Great ride!
Advantages
Iconrapid travel
Disadvantages
IconHeaters were not on
The ride was good. The time passed quickly and the view from the window was totally beautiful, but unfortunately the ride was in winter and the heaters were not on. I had felt comfortable using the toilets. There was also a smoking area where I could smoke. Moreover, the staff were very humorous and I had smoked with them. A trip I can recommend to others.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
Icongood wifi
IconPrice is OK.
Disadvantages
Iconunhygienic
IconNot so good service
The trip was about 2 years ago, but we can remember it. Me and my wife went in the afternoon. The train was on time and the prices were OK. Now I want to mention the negative points, namely: it was unhygienic on the train, the toilets had an unpleasant smell and the food was delivered cold. Nevertheless, I can recommend it because of the price. In general, the ride was OK. The strength is the wifi and punctuality and the weakness is the unclean toilets. Yes, why are 3 stars little? It's more than half.
Advantages
IconPunctual
IconComfortable
Disadvantages
IconToilet defective
I am very satisfied with the journey. We arrived on time at our destination station, Munich Central Station, and I was able to catch my connecting train. The conductor was very friendly and sockets and wifi were available. The train was well cleaned, the only complaint would be that one toilet was not usable.
Advantages
IconPunctual
Disadvantages
IconNone
I also had some positive experiences on the journey home. It was particularly nice to see that the train was on time and the staff were very helpful. The network was also stable throughout. I couldn't recognise any weaknesses. It was also clean and hygienic. Recommendation.
Advantages
IconClean
Disadvantages
IconNone
I definitely liked the fact that the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also very pleasing that my train was on time. I would also like to mention that the sanitary facilities really were characterised by excellent hygiene. As the reception was also super, I can't help but give the trip a full 5 stars. I also give it my recommendation.
Advantages
IconPrice-performance ratio
Disadvantages
IconNone
I increasingly think that travelling by train is much better than domestic flights, firstly because it's cheaper and secondly because it's much less stressful. The train was on time, the service was good, I had enough space and the journey didn't take that long compared to other means of transport. The hygiene in the toilets was also quite good and there was even an on-board bistro. I think it's a good alternative to travelling by car or plane.
Advantages
IconNice conductor
IconPretty quiet for a Sunday
We arrived on time at our destination station, Munich Central Station. I found a seat almost without any problems, which almost surprised me for a Sunday. The wifi worked quite well and I was able to watch a film on it. There was a power socket right at my seat. The conductor was very nice to me and the toilet was well cleaned. But that can be said for the whole train.
Advantages
IconService
IconPunctuality
IconBeautiful landscapes
Disadvantages
IconExpensive bistro
The journey from Stuttgart to Munich took place without any noteworthy incidents. The punctuality was commendable and I reached my destination of Munich without any delays. It was very cosy on board and the indoor climate was very pleasant thanks to the air conditioning. You could also order coffee in the bistro. However, the prices were quite high. Along the route you could admire picturesque landscapes. All in all, a connection worth recommending.
Advantages
IconOnline
IconCosy
Disadvantages
IconDirty.
I travel a lot in Germany on business and usually take an ICE train for my journeys. The ticket is quick and easy to book online. The train was punctual and comfortable. However, in my opinion, it could have been checked once before departure.
Advantages
IconPersonnel
Disadvantages
IconPunctuality
As so often, the train was late again and I had to wait for it at the station. When it finally arrived, at least the rest went smoothly. The staff always remained polite and friendly despite annoyed passengers. Both the wifi and power sockets worked and I had a comfortable seat. All in all, a good journey, but it would have been even better if the train had been on time.
Advantages
IconBeautiful view
IconNice service
IconGood wifi
Disadvantages
IconSlow train
IconMuch delay
I really would have been completely satisfied with this journey if the train hadn't been so massively delayed. I had an estimated delay of around 1 hour at my destination and if I hadn't had a business appointment, that would have been manageable, but it was a shame to have to explain it. At least the service was nice and understanding and the wifi was fast enough for me to do my work on my laptop.
Advantages
IconThere was wifi
Disadvantages
IconPeople had sat in my seat.
Everything worked perfectly on the journey. There were no delays, the wifi worked, the journey was only about 2 hours and the toilets were not faulty. The reason why I only give 3 stars is because someone had sat in my seat and I had to wait 20 minutes for a ticket inspector to come and drag them off my seat.
Advantages
IconQuite brisk
Disadvantages
IconA long delay
I bought this ticket some time ago and I remember very clearly that it was at least 20 minutes late. The journey was actually quite quick, but I still arrived too late. I didn't have to change trains as the ICE train travelled all the way through. The journey took about 2 hours.
Advantages
IconGong faster than the journey there
IconNo delay
Disadvantages
IconVery full
It was already night time, but for some reason the train was very full. Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep because of this, which really annoyed me as I'd been at work all day. It stank, even though the ventilation was on. However, the journey was quicker than my outward journey and also cheaper, so I can't complain. It was straight to Munich without having to change trains. It took about 2 hours and was a highly recommended journey. Although there was some technical error with the ticket inspector, this was very nicely rectified.
Advantages
IconService
IconPrice
Disadvantages
IconOmission
Unfortunately, the original train was cancelled and I had to wait a little while until a replacement arrived. Unfortunately, the replacement was already full and I no longer had a seat. Fortunately, another one became available later on. The staff were friendly to me and the ticket inspector always remained friendly. The price was very reasonable, making it a very good alternative.
Advantages
IconFast and punctual journey
IconComfortable seats
IconFriendly staff
Disadvantages
IconCleanliness of the sanitary facilities
You can travel quickly and comfortably from Stuttgart to Munich by train in just over 2 hours. If you book in good time, the price is also very reasonable. The staff on this connection were very friendly and helpful. During the journey you can always stretch your legs or go to the dining car.
