The facilities on the train were basic but adequate. The seats were comfortable and there was enough legroom as well as tables for working or eating. Unfortunately, there was no wifi on board, which is important for many travellers. Overall comfort was good, with adequately cushioned seats and enough space for luggage. The service staff were polite and helpful and the announcements were clear. It would have been desirable if the staff had been present on the train more often to better meet passengers' needs. The overall cleanliness on the train was good, but the toilets could be cleaned more often to ensure a higher standard. The value for money of the train journey was reasonable. The amenities and comfort provided were satisfactory overall, albeit with some small areas for improvement. Compared to other transport options, the train journey was a reasonable choice.
