A really relaxing journey compared to the car journey. I've travelled both ways and would always take the driveway if I could, as it's much more relaxing. It's also quite cheap! The only thing I have to criticise is that the train wasn't completely clean.

A really good train journey, not inconvenient as you don't have to change trains. The journey is relatively short and pleasant. What I personally always find really cool about travelling by train is that you can concentrate on the nature around you instead of the traffic. As the wifi and power sockets worked, I was also able to work, which saved me time. The price is also very fair, especially when you consider today's petrol prices.

The train departed Munich Central Station on time at around midday. The staff were very friendly and the comfort was adequate. Cleanliness and hygiene were not neglected either. The only downside was the very unstable network connection. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the journey.
Advantages

Disadvantages

The journey went faster than I had expected, which was of course a pleasant surprise. I didn't have to change trains from Munich Central Station and travelled all the way to Regensburg. The train was also on time, which many people see as a problem, but I rarely had any problems with delays. Another big advantage of travelling by train, in my opinion at least, is the scenery you can see, as you don't have to concentrate on the road.

IconAge of the train
I was definitely pleased that the train was on time and not forever late or even cancelled. But what I have to criticise is the age of the train, as it was getting on in years and the seat upholstery, for example, was very damaged and the seat became hard as a result. But I think the price was very good and you can't say anything against it. All in all, the journey was well worth it.

It was a pretty good journey, there were only a few points that bothered me. First of all, I have to say that the ticket inspector was very nice, as I had a technical problem with my ticket and he patiently showed me everything without being annoyed. The train was only slightly late. Otherwise everything was great, from the facilities to the comfort and cleanliness. The only thing I found a little excessive was the price.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconNone
I travelled from Munich to Regensburg and had to change trains in Ingolstadt. The journey was quite pleasant so far, as the train had very comfortable seats and free wifi. There were no delays on the entire journey. There weren't too many passengers on board, so there was a seat for everyone. The beautiful landscapes along Route 100 and round off the travelling experience.
