I was quite happy with this connection. The route was ideal for my destination and I didn't have to change trains, which is a big plus for me. The train was on time and the overall process was very smooth. The comfort was good, the seats were comfortable and it was quiet in the compartment. There was an on-board bistro with a small selection, the prices were a bit high, but okay. One point deducted because the toilets were not exactly clean. Otherwise everything was really fine.

The ICE was very punctual, which I saw as a great advantage. The departure and arrival times were exactly right, which made planning the journey much easier. Unfortunately, the toilets were not clean. It was obvious that they were not cleaned regularly, which somewhat spoilt the otherwise positive impression. Apart from this point, the journey was quiet and pleasant. The staff were very polite and I give it 4 stars.

Last year, I often commuted between Hamburg and my home in Cologne by train for work reasons. Compared to travelling by car in particular, using the ICE has clear time advantages. I save an average of 2 hours by train and travel much more comfortably. I can often get some of my work done while travelling, so that I can sometimes leave earlier at the weekend and simply get some of my work done on the train.

I travelled by ICE from Hamburg to Cologne at the beginning of the month. The journey is quick and takes about 4 hours in total. The train was on time and empty. As it was almost 25 degrees on the day, it was very stuffy on the train. It was really uncomfortable as the air conditioning wasn't 100% cool. There was a board bistro on the train and the staff were very friendly.

I travelled from Hamburg to Cologne by ICE on Whit Monday. The journey went quickly and only took four hours. The direct connections between the major cities are surprisingly often punctual and arrive at their destination without incident. If this were also the case for connections where you have to change trains, Deutsche Bahn would be much more reliable. Unfortunately, the toilets were once again very dirty. The staff were friendly and motivated.

The train from Hamburg to Cologne was delayed by a total of 20 minutes. Also, my window was so dirty that I couldn't see out of it. Otherwise, the train and the toilets were very clean and the staff were friendly during the inspection. The on-board bistro was also open. The seats were comfortable and there were power sockets and good internet. The ticket itself was not too expensive.

Very solid train journey. Comfort was good, modern seats, plenty of space and quiet fellow travellers. The on-board bistro was on board and had a delicious coffee. Unfortunately the view was rather dull, lots of concrete, little scenery. But there were no transfers and the arrival was on time. The wifi was mostly stable. Value for money, especially with the economy fare. One star is missing because the toilet was not cleaned in between. Nevertheless, we'd love to go again!

I travelled to a seminar. I booked an ICE train (the fastest connection) from Hamburg to Cologne. The journey was a bit expensive but overall the price was okay. The comfort was great and the service was nice. It was only a bit noisy, which was probably due to the lunchtime. The toilets were clean but some were not working. The wifi worked well most of the time and the on board restaurant had a good offer. The train was only about 20 minutes late, which is okay for a journey like this.

This train journey was an unpleasant experience. The train was late. Neither toilets, tables nor seats were cleaned. The noise level was too high. I also noticed the staff negatively, as they did not help me with my problems. The power sockets didn't work, but the wifi did. The food was also unappetising and cold. The train journey from Hamburg to Cologne was quite good. On my tour in two days around the whole of Germany and neighbouring countries by train, the trains often arrive late, as they did on this train journey. But when the train finally arrived, the seats were very warm, which gives a plus point. The staff were super nice and even apologised for the train being late. Another plus point is the power supply on the train. When my smartphone battery was empty, I could easily charge it.

I had two power sockets and USB ports at my seat, and the wifi was free and worked great. The seats were not particularly comfortable, but you could stand it and I was almost all alone on the train. The conductor was very nice and helpful. The hygiene in the train was great and in the toilets too, but the toilets were a bit small. The train was also 15 minutes late, which is not what I am used to.

I really enjoyed this train journey as you had everything you needed for such a long journey. The seats were comfortably upholstered and easy to find by the friendly staff. The toilets were cleaned every now and then. There was a power socket next to the seats and you had a stable wifi connection with which you can also watch films. The train arrived without delay and arrived in Cologne without delay.

My business trip was over and I booked my return ticket on the flixtrain from Hamburg via Düsseldorf to Cologne online. As always, booking was extremely easy. The return journey was very pleasant, supported by the friendly on-board staff and the good entertainment on offer. The train was not overcrowded and I had enough space. I could therefore overlook the shortcoming that the seats were not adjustable. The toilets were always very clean, there was nothing to complain about. The price-performance ratio of the flixtrain is excellent.

The train ride was just great. The train arrived very punctually and I was greeted in a friendly manner when I asked for my reserved seat. The seats were very comfortable and I had a power socket right next to me where I could plug in my laptop. There was even wifi on the train, which ran smoothly, so I could watch movies on my laptop. I really enjoy travelling with the Flixtrain and often use the route between Hamburg and Cologne. The trains have always been on time (compared to other trains). The staff have also always been very nice. The space available is not quite optimal for very tall people (but it's no better on other trains). I have also noticed the increased sense of humour of many Flixtrain train drivers; you get the impression that they enjoy their job. Even for a mini delay caused by other trains through no fault of their own (I didn't even notice the delay), you get a small compensation. Information is provided reliably by e-mail or through direct announcements. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Clear travel recommendation with Flixtrain from me.

The train journey from Hamburg to Pulheim via Cologne was satisfactory overall. Despite an unpleasant delay of over 60 minutes. However, the seating comfort was good and the journey was quiet. The train journey from Hamburg to Cologne was very comfortable. A journey time of around 4 hours is a very good value. The seats were comfortable, the wifi and power sockets worked perfectly and the toilets were clean. The rest of the train also looked very clean and hygienic. Once again, the train staff were very nice and cheerful, which made the journey a pleasant experience. I didn't have to change trains. It was pleasant that there were enough free seats and that a seat reservation would have been necessary. The catering on offer was very varied. Every traveller will find something here. You can even buy organic food here. It was annoying that we were delayed by around 25 minutes. The ticket price was fair and acceptable. The earlier you book, the cheaper the ticket. The train is also a very good alternative to travelling by car on this route.
