The journey was pleasantly quiet and the train was very clean. I had a comfortable window seat with a nice view. The connection was direct and much more relaxed than by car. Punctuality was excellent this time, even arriving a little earlier. The air conditioning was constant and pleasant. The only point of criticism was the behaviour of a single employee, who seemed rather unfriendly. Nevertheless, I would travel the route again at any time.

The train journey was pleasant and uncomplicated. The train departed almost on time and arrived with only a slight delay. My compartment was clean, quiet and the seats were comfortable. The view en route was also nice. Unfortunately, the wifi was slow and wiped out completely in places. Nevertheless, it was a relaxing journey overall and I would happily do it again.

The train journey was basically fine. I found it particularly positive that the train departed on time and we arrived without any delays. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space to feel cosy. I found it a little unpleasant that the air conditioning was set to a very high level, which made the compartment cold. The wifi on the train was really handy though as I could use it to listen to music and write messages. There was also the advantage of being able to sit back and relax without having to worry about the traffic. It was just a shame that there wasn't much of a snack selection on board.

I recently travelled by train and was mostly satisfied. The journey was pleasantly quiet and the seat was comfortable. The train staff were friendly and helpful and there was enough space for luggage. Punctuality was also fine, we arrived just a few minutes late. However, the wifi reception was poor in places, especially in the countryside. Nevertheless, I would travel again as the overall comfort was convincing.

Unfortunately, the journey was not pleasant. The train was very noisy, the air conditioning didn't work properly but the connection was without changing trains. The train was late, which meant I arrived 50 minutes late in total. There was no bistro, no working display and the toilet was in poor condition. Compared to the car, I could have saved myself the frustration. The only plus point was a nice section of track with a view of Frankfurt.

I was completely satisfied with the journey. The train arrived on time, the connection was direct and the journey was uninterrupted. I would particularly like to emphasise the seating comfort. I had enough space, the upholstery was comfortable and I didn't get any back pain even on longer journeys. The air conditioning was unobtrusive, so it was set just right. The cleanliness in the coach was also impeccable. The table was clean, the floor was tidy and the toilet was in good condition. The staff were also friendly and attentive. For me, it was a perfect train journey.

The train journey was fine, but there were a few points that spoilt the overall impression. The train was already ten minutes late at the start, which increased slightly en route. The wifi was barely usable, the connection kept dropping out, which made it quite difficult to work en route. The air conditioning was very weak and it became noticeably warm in the carriage as the journey progressed.

A pleasant and beautiful connection that I can gladly recommend. It was really relaxed, you get a lot. There was wifi as well as electricity on the train. The toilet was a bit messy, but there was everything you need for your business. What I didn't like so much was that it was a bit too crowded. I had to stand up a few times, but otherwise I liked this connection.

Actually, I always use my car for such routes, but this time I wanted to try it with an ICE. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Booking the online ticket was very easy and understandable. When I arrived at the station, I quickly found my platform and the train was on time. I found my seat immediately. It was comfortable and I had no aches and pains during the journey. It was quiet and pleasant in the train, I could enjoy my journey and the landscape in peace, the toilet was OK as it is in a train. Unfortunately, there was no wifi or electricity, but that didn't bother me. It was cheaper than by car. But it was a bit more time-consuming, otherwise recommendable. Positive: cheaper than by car, faster, more comfortable, coffee on the train, nice view. Negatives: a bit of a hassle, no electricity, no wifi.

Some time ago I travelled by train from Frankfurt am Main to Cologne. The journey was unproblematic. The staff were very friendly and totally obliging! The price also convinced me a lot. The train journey from Frankfurt main station to Cologne was a pleasant experience overall. The train was on time and the departure was without delay. I had booked a second class ticket, but the train was very clean and comfortable. There was enough space for passengers and luggage and the seats were comfortable and cushioned. During the journey I was able to enjoy the scenery, which was very varied along the route. There were many picturesque villages and towns as well as some stunning scenery. The train journey was also very quiet and pleasant as there were no loud noises or commotion, another plus point was that there was 1 bar on the train where I could stock up on some snacks and drinks. The prices were a bit higher than in a supermarket but still acceptable, the travel time from Frankfurt, main station to Cologne 1 hour and 20 minutes, in this time I can relax and look forward to the upcoming arrival in Cologne without any problems getting off the train. Overall, I was very satisfied with my train journey from Frankfurt main station to Cologne. The trains were clean, comfortable and the journey went smoothly. Even the wifi always worked and the staff were very nice.

The connection was very fast. There was no need to change trains. The only stop on the way was at Frankfurt Airport. I was able to charge and use my MacBook on the journey. The seat was very clean and the seat could be adjusted. The price was relatively cheap. In the train itself, it was very noisy in the meantime due to many people talking on the phone.

Disadvantages
IconDelay
Overall, the journey was pleasant, but unfortunately there were some problems. First of all, I have to say that the train was not quite on time. We left Frankfurt about 15 minutes late, but that wasn't a big problem for me personally. Nevertheless, it was annoying because I had a tight connection in Cologne. But then the journey itself was very pleasant. The train was clean and comfortable, and I had enough space for my legs and luggage. The wifi also worked perfectly, so I could work during the journey. Unfortunately, there were further delays due to road works on the route. In the end, we were almost an hour late, which was of course very annoying. Overall, I would still recommend the trip despite the delays. The comfort of the train and the possibility to work or relax made the journey pleasant, even if the delays were annoying.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconDelay
Iconcrowded
Since I travelled during the holiday season, the train was also very full. You could have expected that, but it is still annoying when it is very loud and crowded on the train. Even some of the people had to sit on the floor, which was certainly not only uncomfortable for themselves, but also for passengers who just want to change through the carriages and have to meander through the people. Because of this, there can be some delays at some stops, which the train was able to catch up with from time to time, which was definitely a plus. The toilets were okay and there were also working power sockets. However, the wifi could only be used for surfing the internet, but not for watching videos on YouTube.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconFailure
Unfortunately, I have had a very bad experience with Deutsche Bahn. I've had delays before, but never a total cancellation, which was unfortunately the case this time. So I was allowed to take an ICE later on the same route. The ICE was extremely fast and fortunately not overcrowded. There was wifi and power sockets. The staff were friendly. The train was clean and smelled fresh.
