Flights leave Paris CDG for Munich on a daily basis. There are seven to ten flights during the week and nine to ten at weekends and all of them fly directly to Bavaria's capital. Flights start early, around 6:00 a.m. However, the last departures are often around 6:00 p.m., so indirect services may be more suitable for those who need to fly later.
Departure airport: All flights to Munich will depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). Getting to CDG is usually very fast and easy. The best route from central Paris is catching the RER B from Chatelet Les Halles, which takes around 35 minutes. Coaches from Roissy Bus or Bus Direct run from Montparnasse and the Eiffel Tower and take around one hour. There's also a Bus Direct service from Orly Airport that takes 70-80 minutes.
Arrival airport: Flights will touch down at Munich Airport. From there, travellers can catch the S1 and S8 S-Bahn connections, which run to Munich's Hauptbahnhof, leave every 10 minutes and take 35 minutes or so. Lufthansa Express buses also leave from Terminals 1 and 2, leave every 15 minutes and take 45 minutes in most cases. Taxis and car hire can be arranged in the arrivals hall and there's also free WiFi.
