About Lufthansa
Lufthansa, also known as Deutsche Lufthansa, is the flagship airline of Germany as well as the largest airline in Europe based on passengers carried and the size of its fleet when combined with its subsidiaries. The majority of Lufthansa flights are to international destinations, as the airline flies mainly to and from the Frankfurt and Munich hubs. Germanwings, which is owned by Lufthansa, provides the majority of domestic flights operated by the Lufthansa Group within Germany as well as throughout Europe.
