I travelled from Hamburg to Kiel on the Regionalexpress and have to say that I really enjoyed the journey. I felt at home because the train was clean and well maintained. The seats were comfortable and ergonomic. The service staff didn't really make an appearance. I particularly liked the fact that the train left on time and arrived in Kiel without any delays. I can recommend this connection.

The journey from Hamburg to Kiel was on the Regionalexpress 70 and took less than an hour, which I personally found very good. The train set off on time and reached Kiel without any delays. It could have been cleaner on board, especially in the toilets. Otherwise, the train was modernly equipped. The service was also excellent.
