The train's equipment was quite modern and comfortable. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space for luggage. The air conditioning worked well, which was very pleasant on a hot day. In terms of service, I was very satisfied. The staff were polite and courteous and always available to answer questions. The catering was also good, with snacks and drinks available at moderate prices. As for the cleanliness, I was a little disappointed. Although the seats were cleaned between trips, the floor and toilets could be a bit cleaner. The journey itself was pleasant and relaxed. The train was on time and there were no significant delays or problems. In terms of value for money, I would say that the journey was reasonable. There are cheaper options, but the comfort and service justify the price. Overall, I would recommend the train journey from Berlin to Kiel. The facilities and comfort were good, the service was friendly and the journey itself went smoothly. The cleanliness could be improved but overall it was a pleasant experience.

I recently travelled from Berlin to Kiel by train and it was a pleasant experience. The train was on time and clean and I had enough space for me and my luggage. The journey time was also pleasant as I was able to see some beautiful scenery and small towns along the way. There were also plenty of snacks and drinks on the train, which was really convenient. The only downside was that there were a few delays, but that wasn't really a big problem as I wasn't in a hurry. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I have plans to travel more often in the future.

I recently had a train journey from Berlin to Kiel and it was a great experience. The train was on time and comfortable, with enough space for my luggage. The scenery along the route was beautiful and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on board. Booking tickets was also easy and quick, thanks to the app. The service was friendly and accommodating and I was even able to check my emails on the free wifi. Overall, its been a pleasant trip and I would definitely recommend it. I have resolved to travel by train more often in the future as I realised how relaxing it is on this trip.

The train ride from Berlin to Kiel was pleasant overall. The seats were comfortable and the train was clean. The journey time was a little longer than expected because the train had technical problems. The scenery along the route was beautiful and good to look at. One small negative. Was that there were not enough food options during the journey. But the train's toilets were clean and the staff quite friendly and offered me a free coffee to compensate for the wait. I also slept for half an hour in the comfortable seats. All in all, a recommendable train journey.

This train journey was a very good experience. Not only was the train not crowded, but the toilets, tables and seats were very clean. The power sockets worked and the wifi worked the whole way. I almost can't complain. The negative thing I noticed was the delay. I recommend the ride to others.

Disadvantages
IconNo wifi at the time
The journey from Berlin to Kiel was good, I think even better than in 2023. There was good food, friendly staff, the seats were comfortable and the toilets were clean. The train was on time and speedy in Kiel. I had to change trains in Hamburg, which I found a bit annoying because of the track change etc.. But everything went smoothly except for the wifi, which was not available on my train at the time. Apart from that, the trip was great. It's a real shame that travelling by train nowadays is fraught with at least one problem.
Advantages

This was my outward journey in first class and my ticket was quite cheap for the value for money. I travelled alone but didn't feel alone as there were great staff. The atmosphere was great. It was very clean on the train and I also had access to very good internet. My seats were very comfortable and I also had access to electricity. I'm happy to pass on this great trip and the punctuality of the train was also great.
Advantages

There was a hygienic cleaning inside the train because the floors and seats, the windows, then I saw the toilets, the place was perfectly clean, I ordered a café, I drank my coffee with a sip and I enjoyed it very much because the environment was very clean and hygienic, which boosted my confidence because there should always be such hygiene in crowded places. Moreover, I also got a comfortable seat with power sockets at a wonderful price. My train also arrived on time.

When I was on the train, I didn't feel very comfortable because there were crumbs and dust on the seats. I had a power socket to charge my mobile phone. I did not have wifi. The train arrived on time. The toilets were not clean but a bit dirty. I didn't see any staff except the ticket inspector.

Disadvantages
IconSometimes cold on the train
The train ride to Kiel was really nice and pleasant. The seats were very comfortable and the two power sockets were completely sufficient for us. It was also very quiet on the train and the food was still warm. I also liked the friendliness of the conductor and the fact that he took his time. The toilets were really clean, almost cleaner than at home. In addition, the train arrived 10 minutes earlier, which surprised me a lot, because we also left on time, and not earlier. Unfortunately, it was always very cold up to 10 min after the stop at the train platform because of the open doors. Otherwise everything was top.

The train was on time, quick check-in, courteous staff. Seats were too hard and the wifi was too weak. The train could have been better insulated, the travelling noise was disturbing when sleeping. But if you can take the train and want to leave your car behind, you'll be well catered for.

On the train journey from Berlin to Kiel, the facilities were not so good, there were plenty of power sockets but no wifi. The comfort wasn't great either, as the seats were damaged. It was very loud throughout the journey due to other guests. I also felt it was cold in the compartment.
