Today I took the Intercity Express from Hamburg to Kassel. The train was on time and I didn't have to change trains as it was a direct connection.
You could reserve seats via the Deutsche Bahn app, just like I bought my ticket there. The train had working wifi and toilets. I got a coffee in the on-board bistro. The staff were nice and helpful. I was able to charge my mobile phone without any problems via the sockets at my seat. The train was a bit noisy as the compartment was well occupied.
Overall, it was a good journey.
