Train connection from Hamburg to Kassel. Today I took the Intercity Express from Hamburg to Kassel. The train was on time and I didn't have to change trains as it was a direct connection. You could reserve seats via the Deutsche Bahn app, just like I bought my ticket there. The train had working wifi and toilets. I got a coffee in the on-board bistro. The staff were nice and helpful. I was able to charge my mobile phone without any problems via the sockets at my seat. The train was a bit noisy as the compartment was well occupied. Overall, it was a good journey.

IconNot clean
I travelled from Hamburg to Kassel and found the journey pleasant for the most part. It was positive that the trains were not delayed. However, the trains were not particularly clean and this should be improved. There was free wifi and power sockets on board. The service was very good, as the staff were open to criticism.

My journey from Hamburg to Kassel was extremely pleasant, as I only had to change trains once. However, the journey was a little long, almost 3 hours. On the other hand, the trains were technically well equipped, clean and tidy. There was free wifi and power sockets were also available. The staff on board were friendly and helpful, which speaks for a good service. There were no delays.

IconUnstable wifi
The journey from Hamburg to Kassel gave me many pleasant impressions of picturesque landscapes. The trains both arrived on time and were in good condition for their age. Cleanliness and hygiene were also obviously important. The service on board was good, all staff were always friendly and helpful. The wifi reception was somewhat limited, which I found a little annoying.
Advantages

IconMinor delay
IconHigh prices in the bistro
I travelled from Hamburg to Kassel and had to change trains once in Wilhelmshöhe. This was relatively straightforward as the stations were well signposted. The train was a little late, but I still managed to catch my connecting train on time. In the bistro you could buy a variety of food and drinks, but the prices were a bit high in my opinion. Otherwise it was clean and hygienic.

The train journey from Hamburg to Kassel was a pleasant experience overall. The train was clean and well maintained. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of room to relax. It was a pleasant and quick journey from Hamburg to Kassel. I had to change trains once, but thanks to the good signposting this was not a problem. The trains were both on time and I reached my destination without any delays. In addition, the trains were clean, which contributed to the general sense of well-being. The trains were modern, with power sockets, free wifi and a bistro.
Advantages
IconQuiet on the train
IconPunctual
IconNice staff
Disadvantages
IconLoose contact on the sockets
On a positive note, it was very quiet on the train. The ICE has very quiet travelling noises. There were enough free seats, which is why it would have been possible to reserve a seat. The wifi worked perfectly. Once again, the staff were very nice, funny and helpful. The train was very clean and hygienic. Each carriage had its own toilet. I didn't have to change trains between Hamburg and Kassel as I travelled on the ICE. The train was on time. The catering on offer was varied, but unfortunately far too expensive. Nevertheless, the food tasted good. Disappointingly, the sockets had a loose connection. Unfortunately, this happens on almost every ICE journey.

During my journey from Hamburg to Kassel, I had to change trains once in Wilhelmshöhe. It was unproblematic so far, but the station was extremely dirty. The service was good, all the staff were friendly and helpful.

My journey from Hamburg to Kassel was nothing but positive. I did have to change trains once in Wilhelmshöhe, but this went smoothly thanks to the excellent signposting.
