I travelled to Hamburg with friends for a girls' weekend. We travelled on Thursday morning. We had a seat reservation at a table on the train, which was very comfortable for us. The train was quite full. We didn't use the train toilet or the on-board restaurant. Unfortunately, the train arrived a little late in Hamburg. We did not make use of the service. The price of the ticket for the outward and return journey was 58 euros.

This connection was absolutely great. No need to change, super fast and clearly the best option compared to the car. The wifi was stable, the seats were very comfortable and the air conditioning was pleasant. The service was also friendly and attentive. Even the on-board bistro was well stocked. A clear recommendation!
Advantages
IconNot so full
IconRelaxed ride
Disadvantages
IconToo few bicycle parking spaces
The train ride was very pleasant for the most part. Unfortunately, the bicycle compartment was quite narrow and there was only limited space for bicycles. As a cyclist, this made it very difficult to find a suitable parking space. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend the trip - especially for travellers without a bike.

IconTrue high capacity utilisation
Kassel to Hamburg train connection. Today I travelled by ICE from Kassel to Hamburg to see the city. The ICE was 30 minutes LATE and very busy with passengers, so I couldn't get a seat. I then sat down in the on-board bistro and drank a water. The wifi was ok, but had some dropouts. Power sockets were available at the seat. The toilets were in working order. I bought the ticket via the Deutsche Bahn app, where I could have pre-booked seats, which might have been an advantage given the occupancy rate. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't have to change trains as it was a direct connection.
Advantages
IconReliable
IconComfortable
IconClean
Disadvantages
IconHigh prices in the bistro
The train journey from Kassel to Hamburg was a mixed experience overall. On the positive side, it was comfortable and allowed us to use our time efficiently during the journey. The seats were comfortable and the train was clean. The wifi connection was reliable. On the negative side, I found that the selection of food and drinks in the bistro was very limited. I also found the prices a little high.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
IconUncomplicated changeover
Disadvantages
IconDirty toilets
The journey from Kassel to Hamburg was mixed, but mostly positive. I had to change trains once, but it was uncomplicated. The train itself was clean, except for the toilets, which were filthy. There were no delays on the whole journey. The service on board was okay, not all the staff were friendly. I was impressed by the scenery along the route.
Advantages
IconCleanliness
IconService
Disadvantages
IconDelay
The journey from Kassel to Hamburg was extremely satisfactory, except for a few small details. There were no problems changing trains, as everything was signposted. The trains were freshly cleaned, which contributed to the positive feeling of well-being. Unfortunately, the second train was slightly late, so I didn't reach my destination on time. Otherwise, the service was good as the staff were all friendly.
Advantages
IconGood service
IconComfort and cleanliness
Disadvantages
IconConsiderable delay
I travelled from Kassel to Hamburg and had to change trains once in Wilhelmshöhe. The journey was quite pleasant overall, which was also due to the cleanliness of the train and the comfort. There was also a bistro where we were served delicious coffee. The train arrived on time, but reached Hamburg very late. Fortunately, this was the final stop for me. Otherwise, the service was quite good.
Advantages
IconClean
IconPunctual
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi signal
The journey from Kassel to Hamburg involved a change of trains. However, this went quite smoothly. There were no delays and I reached my destination on time. The carriages were also clean and tidy, as were the toilets. The service was good, as the staff were polite and available to answer questions. It was a little annoying that the wifi signal regularly waned. Otherwise, a thoroughly recommendable connection.
Advantages

IconPunctual
Disadvantages

The journey from Kassel to Hamburg was quite pleasant, as it only took just under 2.5 hours. The train had enough seats for everyone as it was not full. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There were no delays throughout the journey, so I reached my destination on time. You could order delicious coffee and snacks in the bistro. The cleanliness of the train was commendable.
Advantages
IconEnough seats
IconClean toilets
Disadvantages
IconLow-performance wifi
The wide and comfortable seats were particularly pleasant. You also have enough legroom. There were also enough free seats. The toilets were very clean. The rest of the train was also very hygienic. The sockets worked. The restaurant was open and had many different dishes and drinks on the menu. The staff were very friendly throughout the journey. I didn't have to change trains as I was travelling on the ICE. Unfortunately, the wifi was very poor. The railway is currently working on the problem and is installing better masts.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
IconCleanliness
Disadvantages
IconNone
I was travelling from Kassel to Hamburg and had to change trains once. I also didn't make a seat reservation and still got a seat. The journey went by quickly as I was in good company. That's why I didn't notice much of the service. I remember that it was very clean there and the train wasn't late. This is the most important thing for me on a journey like this.
