The toilets were clean, the staff were friendly and catering was provided. Unfortunately, I arrived in Karlsruhe an hour later than planned. As compensation, we were offered free water. Apart from that, there wasn't much to complain about.

Delay due to diversionI travelled from Hamburg to Karlsruhe on the ICE 1577 at 8:28. The train was on time, there was also a restaurant on board, the prices were absolutely ok. The journey was pleasant, and thanks to the Comfort Check-in there was no ticket inspection. Wifi and the sockets worked. Unfortunately, there was a spontaneous diversion, which meant that the train couldn't travel through Frankfurt and was a little late, which didn't bother me too much. The train was also relatively empty, so a seat reservation was not absolutely necessary.
