Advantages
IconOn time
IconClean seat
Disadvantages
IconMany passengers
The train journey from Düsseldorf to Mannheim was very pleasant on the whole. The train was also very punctual, which was the most important point of the trip for me. My seat was also very clean, which made the journey very pleasant. On the other hand, the journey was unfortunately very crowded due to the number of passengers, which led to an increased noise level. The equipment of the ride was ok. The wifi was available, but was not used. The power sockets were available and functional.
Advantages
IconFast journey and good value for money
Disadvantages
IconOutrageously expensive if booked too late
The journey on the IC train from Düsseldorf to Mannheim is really pleasant. With a few exceptions, the wifi is good and stable on this route and the journey takes just under three hours. This journey is a little faster by ICE, but even more expensive. Unfortunately, this route is disproportionately expensive if you book spontaneously and is disproportionate to the length of the journey. In this case, it is worth taking advantage of the numerous carpooling offers.
