Düsseldorf to Munich train with Deutsche Bahn (ICE,IC,RE,EC)

I travelled from Düsseldorf to Munich on the ICE, which was not delayed at all. The train was very clean inside and the toilets looked hygienic. Unfortunately, this train was very busy, so I had to reserve a seat. There was also no internet connection on the train, although the symbol was on the outside of the train. The ticket was also far too expensive. However, I found the service on the train okay. However, I would not recommend this journey to others.

My ICE journey was again very pleasant. I was delighted with the ample legroom, as I was able to sit comfortably and stretch my legs. The wide doors and lack of steps also made boarding the train easy. Another advantage was that the train was quiet, so I could listen to music undisturbed. One disadvantage was that there was no display for the next stops and I sometimes didn't know where we were.

The train from Düsseldorf to Munich was very full, so I had to reserve a seat in advance. The ticket had also been cheap and I didn't have to change trains. Overall, the comfort was good. There were power sockets and internet on the train. The staff were friendly and the on-board bistro was open. The train was also clean and the toilets looked hygienic. I arrived in Munich on time and without changing trains. I can therefore recommend the journey.

I travelled from Düsseldorf to Munich to visit my family. I must have travelled this route with Deutsche Bahn about 20 times. Almost every time there are problems of some kind, such as train cancellations, delays, ... actually, travelling by train would be so nice because you don't have to drive yourself and you're doing something good for the environment, but unfortunately it doesn't work smoothly with the train. This time I was lucky and apart from a delay of about 10 minutes, everything went smoothly. The journey started on time at 07:21. The train and the toilets were clean and the seats were comfortable as they could be extended. So it was also great for slightly taller people. Unfortunately, the wifi didn't work, but the board bistro was open, although I didn't buy anything. To summarise, if it always worked like last time, it would be okay for €45. However, disappointingly, you can't rely on Deutsche Bahn, so there's no guarantee that it will always run like this. Personally, I've had much worse journeys with delays of 3 hours in some cases.

I travelled from Düsseldorf to Munich on the night train in July (departure 23:40, arrival 6:30). The train was about 20 minutes late. As I was travelling without a seat reservation, it wasn't easy to find a seat at first. After a short search, however, I found a comfortable seat with a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was difficult to sleep: it was quite bright on the train and the air conditioning was set far too cold. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is good - I am satisfied with the route and the overall comfort and would make the journey again.

The journey was really very pleasant. The train was clean and you could even use the toilets without any problems. The view was also very exciting and the price-performance ratio is also very good. I didn't have to change trains, which I was very pleased about. Clear recommendations from me!

This was my outward journey in 2nd class. There was one negative thing, and that was that the train was late, but that was the only thing I didn't like. It wasn't that bad, as it was delayed by a few minutes, but there were a lot more good things. What I liked was that it was very hygienic and clean on the train. The seats were disinfected and the floor was very clean. The windows were also very clean. The wifi was also OK. I can pass on the trip as there was only one small thing that I didn't like and that was the delay. Otherwise, it was a great ride.

What I liked most was that the staff were very nice, respectively I also liked the service because it wasn't that expensive and it was delivered quickly, my food was also delicious. This train ride was the first train ride that went great for me. The staff were very competent and friendly. The food was expensive, but it was delicious and worth it in my opinion. Punctuality and Deutsche Bahn are something else, they could still work on that, but there was wifi and the toilets were clean. Reserving seats was very easy and the seating comfort was sufficient. I didn't have to change trains, as I travelled by ICE. It's rare to experience a journey like this with Deutsche Bahn.

The outward journey to Düsseldorf was a lot of fun because the staff were very nice and friendly. The internet was as good as it gets and worked great. I had a window where the view was great. My ticket was also cheap and I got much more than I expected. I was also catered for, for example with a plaster. The amazing thing was that there were LEDs and it looked very nice. I can happily recommend the trip to others, as it was really great and inexpensive. I would also like to mention the punctuality of the train. Great ride!

On the way there, I noticed that they donate money to needy children. That moved me to tears. The food was also very tasty. I was happy to see that there was also a vegan food menu. There was also plenty of space to sleep. I would gladly recommend the whole thing to others and rate it 5 out of five stars, as the trip impressed me very much. I also loved that there was air conditioning which ensured that I was warm and also cold, depending on my choice. I also liked that a lot of attention was paid to hygiene (disinfectants and such). In addition, the price-performance ratio was very good, but since my ticket was very cheap and I got a lot back. My train was also punctual and I had multiple electricity access at my seat. The volume on the train was good or very pleasant. If you needed food, you got it. In general, it was a "perfect" journey, so to speak.

That was my outward journey. The train was unfortunately late, but that's the only thing I didn't like. I had felt comfortable using the toilets. The toilet paper was also of good quality. The service was also very fast. The staff were entertaining and funny respectively. My ticket was cheap and the service was great. Definitely recommendable.

I started my journey to Munich on Friday evening. It's clear that more people generally take trains on Friday nights than usual, but it was so crowded that even the staff had a little trouble with it. Fortunately, the staff didn't get rattled, remained friendly and the train arrived on time. Luckily, since I had a seat reservation, I didn't have to stand either. The toilets were okay, but could be cleaner. However, this was probably due to the crowded train. For this reason, the internet was not the best either, but you could use it for web browsing, but not for movies. The power sockets work well and I was able to charge my mobile phone for the long journey. It was a bit noisy on the train, but seats are comfortable as always.

As you can see from the picture, this was my outward journey. It took a long time, but it didn't feel that long because the staff were very entertaining. Besides, the staff were also very funny and nice. I had felt comfortable using the toilets as they were very clean. I can't think of any negative things, so I can only recommend it. Besides, my ticket was cheap.

That was my outward journey and it was great. I rode alone, but didn't feel alone as I chatted with the other passengers and with the nice staff. Also, the journey took 5 hours but didn't feel that long as I had fun while playing board games with the staff and passengers, which was very nice of everyone. I had good wifi and a power socket at my seat. My ticket was very cheap. The ride was highly recommended. The kicker was that the toilets had a super design. Totally enjoyable ride where I had fun.

The only thing I have to criticise is that the train was not on time. Otherwise, I can only praise the journey to Munich. The perfect cleanliness and hygiene stood out in particular. As usual, the network connection was good. I set off in the late afternoon and arrived a little late at around 11.00 pm. I give the train journey a full 5 stars overall and recommend it to others.

I'm travelling more and more by train, mainly for work, and I have to say that I prefer it to driving. The vast majority of trains arrive on time, like this one, and they are also clean and tidy. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. But also the journey time, in my opinion, is fast and often faster than travelling by car. What I personally also like about travelling by train is the view. But what convinces me most is the price

I was very surprised at how quick the journey was as I had thought it would take much longer, but this was not the case. I had a comfortable, clean seat with a small table. The only thing that wasn't so clean were the toilets, but it wasn't dramatic. The train was equipped with working wifi and power sockets. I think the value for money is good, especially when you consider how much the journey would have cost by car.

In contrast to the previous journey, this journey on the ICE was extremely pleasant and, to my surprise, there were no problems whatsoever. The train was empty, quiet, pleasantly air-conditioned and I was able to enjoy the usual facilities and comfort of the ICE. On this journey, the staff were also on good terms with the passengers and were extremely helpful and courteous. All in all, this journey was once again a very positive and pleasant experience with the ICE and Deutsche Bahn. I was able to enjoy the journey even without a seat reservation and although the price was not exactly low, it was worth it in retrospect.

The journey itself was great, everything was clean including the sanitary facilities, the seats were comfortable and there was working wifi. The journey wasn't too long either. However, the punctuality of the trains could still be worked on, as you either don't get the next one due to delays or have to wait ages for your train, which is even more annoying with a lot of luggage. But the journey itself was good.
