Munich is a beautiful historic city in Bavaria, Germany which is known for its Oktoberfest and its main square Marienplatz. Munich's airport is located 28.5 km from Munich itself and is connected to the city centre via two train lines which run every 10 minutes from the airport to the city centre and takes around 40 minutes. Alternatively there is the Lufthansa bus service which runs from the airport to the Munich Central Station every 20 minutes until 9:40pm.
