The time of the ICE on this route cannot be beaten by a car at around 40 minutes, which is why the train journey is very worthwhile on this connection, even if it is relatively expensive compared to the car journey for this route. On my journey, the train was clean and left on time and arrived in Erfurt on time. However, due to the high speeds, internet reception via the ICE wifi was somewhat unstable and it was relatively crowded on the train.

It's nice to just sit on the train and not have to do anything and just enjoy the ride. Everything is clean, even in the toilets. In the end, it's still good value for money and I would always travel with DB again.

As always, the ICE arrived on time in Leipzig, so it was easy to board and find a seat. The train was only moderately crowded, so you could quickly find a seat. Wifi and electricity were available and the connection was good. The seats and the whole train were very clean. Unfortunately, there was no on-board service on the train this time. When I arrived at the station, I immediately noticed that my train was very punctual and I got on and was greeted very nicely. Then I sat down and I noticed how comfortable the seats were. To the left of my seat I also had access to electricity and I had a table as well. Then I ordered some food and it arrived quickly, fresh and was very tasty. In the toilet, I had a clean and hygienic environment in front of me. The staff were particularly nice and the wifi was very good.
