The journey from Erfurt to Leipzig was very quick and without changing trains. The ticket was also reasonable for the route. The train was not very busy, so I was able to get a seat without a reservation. However, it was very dirty on the train, especially in the corridors. In addition, the toilet in my section was defective. Otherwise, I found the seats very comfortable. Facilities such as sockets and internet were also available. There was a quick ticket inspection and the train arrived on time in Leipzig. So it was a good journey.

I travelled from Erfurt to Leipzig by train. Although I didn't have a seat reservation, I had a good seat. The toilets were all accessible and clean. The wifi was stable. The carriage was well cooled thanks to the working air conditioning. I arrived according to plan. The snacks in the on-board restaurant were delicious.

The train from Erfurt to Leipzig took a very long time this time. This was because there was a door malfunction on the train, which delayed us by 35 minutes. The train itself was very clean and the seats were very comfortable. There were plenty of power sockets on the train and a stable internet connection. The staff were very friendly and the on-board bistro was also open. I didn't have to change trains during the journey. The train was also not very busy, so it was relatively quiet on the train.

I was completely satisfied with the train journey. The train was on time, clean and pleasantly quiet. My seat was comfortable and I had enough space for my luggage. I particularly appreciated the functioning wifi, which shortened my journey time. The staff were also friendly and helpful. This is my idea of relaxed travelling. I will definitely use this connection again.

I was able to travel from Erfurt to Leipzig on the ICE within half an hour. I didn't have to change trains on this journey and the train wasn't delayed at all. The train was relatively quiet and very clean. The toilet also looked hygienic. The reservation indicator worked and the seats were comfortable. There were also plenty of power sockets and good internet. Unfortunately, the on-board bistro was not open. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly and quickly checked the tickets. I found the ticket a little too expensive for this short journey. Overall, I can recommend the journey.

This train journey was simply great. The train arrived on time and I had a clean, comfortable seat with plenty of legroom. The wifi was stable throughout, so I was able to relax and work. The on-board staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the journey even more enjoyable. The air conditioning ensured a pleasant temperature and the toilets were clean. For me, this was definitely the best connection I've ever had and I would book it again at any time.

IconThe wifi connection could be a little more stable. The wifi connection could be a little more stable.
First of all, I would like to mention the punctuality. Both the departure and the arrival were on time for me. We even had to wait a little before Leipzig because we were going a little too fast. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I boarded the train. For once, it was a train that wasn't completely smeared. To be more precise. It was really clean. There were enough seats still available. They were also very clean. As I am quite a hefty man, I still had enough space. The comfortable seats made the journey fly by. A very nice and used luxury were the USB ports. I could charge my mobile phone here without any problems. Now I would like to quickly say a few positive words about the staff. They were very nice and helpful. They were able to advise me without any problems, and explained to me how it worked with the comfort check in. The staff were very well-groomed. I do have one small thing to criticise, but it's not really a problem. The wifi disconnected two or three times during the journey. However, I was able to connect to it again without any problems.

I am a trainee who travels from Dessau to Erfurt via Leipzig (there and back) every 2-3 weeks to reach my vocational school or to get home again. The journey from Erfurt to Leipzig is very busy, so it is difficult to find a seat in 2nd class, even as a Deutsche Bahn trainee (industrial mechanic). Despite the high capacity, I arrived on time at Dessau main station to get home and with the navigator and the announcements, you are very well informed. Also by the staff, who are very friendly. Even with high occupancy, a quiet atmosphere is to be expected, so that one can also work in a concentrated manner or even to sleep briefly. There is always room for luggage, but unfortunately it is difficult to get through the narrow corridors if you have large luggage with you. On the whole, a trip with Deutsche Bahn is recommendable!

I travelled with Deutsche Bahn ICE 1657 from Frankfurt to Dresden. The route Erfurt to Leipzig is part of this journey, I travelled second class and did not make a reservation, yet there were enough seats and I did not have to stand. It was very warm that day, but the air conditioning in the Deutsche Bahn worked so it was comfortable. The train makes a neat and decent impression. The Deutsche Bahn staff were very motivated and friendly.

The ICE arrived in Erfurt on time. There were not many people on the train early in the morning, so it was easy to find a seat. Wifi and power sockets were available and working as usual. The seats were very comfortable and the conductor very friendly. The cleanliness in the train was 1A. Everything was top. The train arrived in Leipzig very punctually, without changing trains. The price/performance ratio was good at 17 euros.

The other day I took the ICE from Erfurt to Leipzig. The price for this journey was very lucrative. Unfortunately, the journey was not really comfortable. It was very noisy and unhygienic in my compartment. Therefore, I could not really enjoy the journey. The staff also made no effort to improve this condition.

Overall, it was a pleasant journey, but there were a few points that struck me. First of all, I have to say that the train was unfortunately not quite on time. We were about ten minutes late, which for me personally was still within the bounds of what I could bear. The journey itself was pleasant and I was able to use the time to read a bit and relax. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space for my legs. One small drawback, however, was that it was a bit noisy on the train. There were many announcements and the air conditioning was also quite loud. That bothered me a bit, but it was still bearable. Overall, however, I am satisfied with my journey by train from Erfurt to Leipzig. The delay was annoying, but that happens from time to time. The rest of the journey was pleasant and I would use the train again on this route.
Advantages
IconFast journey
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi
IconCleanliness
My journey on the ICE from Erfurt to Leipzig was an enjoyable experience overall. The highlight was definitely the speed of the journey. The train reached its destination in no time at all, which was extremely convenient. The seating comfort on the ICE was first class. The seats were comfortable and offered enough space, which made the journey particularly pleasant. The service staff on board were friendly and attentive, and they helped to make the journey very pleasant overall. However, there were some points that could be improved. The cleanliness of the train left a lot to be desired and I would have expected the train to be in a cleaner condition. The wifi on board was unfortunately not particularly reliable, which could be frustrating for business travellers or travellers who need to work online. The punctuality of the train was not always perfect, which caused slight inconvenience. Despite these minor shortcomings, the positives outweigh the negatives in my opinion. The fast journey, excellent seating comfort and friendly service still make travelling by ICE from Erfurt to Leipzig a worthwhile option. I would definitely recommend this journey and look forward to future journeys on the ICE.

IconDoor effect
The journey on the ICE from Erfurt to Leipzig was basically an extremely satisfying journey. With a low ticket price, you could choose the ICE between Erfurt and Leipzig and, with a journey time of just over 40 minutes, you arrived at your destination extremely quickly, and the interior and equipment on the train, such as wifi, were of the usual top quality. The only problem I had on the journey, which is why it doesn't get five stars, was a defect in the door where I wanted to get off, which I wasn't sufficiently informed about from inside the train, for example by a sticker or a poster. Because of this, I suddenly had to run for my life to get out in time at the stop in Leipzig.

Travelling from Erfurt to Leipzig by ICE is very fast and pleasant. You can make good use of the time to work. The journey from Erfurt to Leipzig was great! Very relaxed connection between Erfurt and Leipzig without changing trains! I had a coffee in the Board Bistro, which was also very tasty for the price. I had no delays that day and the staff were all friendly. I also had a seat reservation. I can recommend the train connection.
