The only toilet on the train was defectiveFrom Hamburg to Lüneburg, the train was not very busy, which is why it had been pleasantly loud on the train. The seats had been comfortable and had power sockets and an internet connection. However, there were no toilets on the train as the only toilet was broken. Many complained to the staff about this, but the staff remained calm and responded competently. The ticket check was also carried out quickly and in a friendly manner. The train was clean so far. I could not check the cleanliness of the toilet due to the defect. Otherwise, the train was on time and the journey was very relaxing.

The train was not significantly busy, so there was plenty of seating. The train appeared well-maintained and technically faultless. The train was not delayed. The journey between Hamburg and Lüneburg was so fast that you hardly noticed it.

The restaurant served a wide range of vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes.
Unfortunately, it was quite noisy on the train as it was full. Although there are quiet carriages in which you should keep quiet, there were not enough of them on the ICE.
