The staff were very friendly and helpful. The train was relatively quiet, the seats very comfortable and clean.
There was wifi and electricity on board, as well as a snack bar. The scenery during the journey was very pleasant and impressive.
The toilets were acceptably clean, with plenty of paper towels and soap.
I can recommend this train service because for me personally it was smooth and pleasant.

DelayI made the journey by ICE from Frankfurt to Hof. The stopover was Nuremberg main station, so I can evaluate the journey. The train was slightly late, but I was still able to catch my connecting train. The Deutsche Bahn staff were friendly. However, the train was relatively unkempt. Some of the seats in second class were run down. On the positive side, travelling by ICE is very fast. The train was relatively full on this day.
