Berlin to Nuremberg train with Deutsche Bahn (ICE,IC,RE)

The return journey on the ICE from Berlin to Nuremberg was pleasant for the most part. One disadvantage was that my window seat was directly exposed to the sun, which made it quite warm. Nevertheless, the journey was relaxed. The train journey was on time and the route had beautiful views. Thanks to the stable wifi and the quietness in the compartment, I was able to work well. All in all, definitely recommendable.

The connection was really good, especially because I didn't have to change trains. I left on time and even arrived a few minutes early. Comfort was solid, but no luxury, at least there was enough space. No on-board bistro on the train, which was a shame as I was hungry. I found the price-performance ratio good, the ticket was significantly cheaper than petrol + parking. The noise level was pleasant, even when the train was full. Compared to the car, a clear advantage in terms of nerves.

As I travel a lot for work, I had to travel to Nuremberg and, as always, I chose Deutsche Bahn. The train arrived very punctually and I was able to catch my connecting train without any problems. Unfortunately, the seats were getting on in years and the train didn't look so good. However, there was good wifi and a socket to charge my laptop.

The wifi worked reliably, which was perfect for working while travelling. The service on the train was friendly and attentive, you really felt at ease. The noise level was also pleasantly quiet. Simply an all-round successful journey!

The return journey from Berlin to Nuremberg by bike went well overall. The bike area was a bit more crowded than on the outward journey, but I still managed to find a space for my bike. The train was clean and comfortable, wifi didn't work all the time this time, but that was bearable. We were almost on time, just a slight delay at the end. The staff were friendly and helped us get off the train. Overall a pleasant journey, even if it wasn't quite as relaxed as the outward journey. I can recommend it!

I was in Berlin on business and travelled home to Nuremberg. The train ticket was okay in terms of price and I had a comfortable train journey. The on-board bistro is a bit expensive, but the food tastes okay. I would recommend the journey to anyone and would do it again in the future.

For our four-day city trip to Berlin, I travelled by ICE with two friends. We had booked the tickets in good time and got a really good deal. The train was also the quickest and most relaxed way for us to get from A to B. We got there in just over 3 hours, and what impressed me most on the way was how quiet and comfortable travelling on the ICE is and that you can really get around quickly. I worked up a bit of an appetite in between and treated myself to some sandwiches in the on-board service - not exactly a bargain, but perfectly tasty. We left at around 11.00 am and arrived in Berlin shortly after 2.00 pm. The seats were really comfortable. It was pleasantly quiet in the carriage and everything, including the toilets, was well maintained. I found the stable wifi and the sockets for charging mobile phones and other devices particularly practical and the train was super punctual. Both on departure and arrival made the whole thing even more relaxed. All in all, the journey was a good overall package, especially for the price of around €25.

I would particularly like to emphasise the relaxed atmosphere on board and the good air conditioning, which made the journey pleasant. However, there was one drawback: there was no working power socket at my seat.

The food was very tasty, there was a lot of choice of everything. The train looked very nice from the outside as well as from the inside. The volume on the train was very pleasant and I was surrounded by nice staff. The train also arrived on time and there was a lot of attention paid to hygiene and cleanliness. I also had the opportunity to charge my mobile phone. Moreover, this was my outward journey.

We travelled first class for the first time. It was very comfortable and convenient. The seats seemed huge and you could really stretch your legs. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I was connected to the wifi quickly and easily. I can't write anything negative about the cleanliness. It was really very clean. I can't say what the cleanliness was like in second class. Unfortunately, the train was 30 minutes late. Definitely recommendable with the Super Sparpreis.

The ICE journey from Berlin to Nuremberg was totally great. Everything worked out! I had a very comfortable seat and the entire ICE was totally clean and hygienic... Service was top. The journey was quick and the wifi worked great... Could have been a bit cheaper...

We showed up at the platform at 6:42 am and the train location was already there, although it wasn't supposed to arrive for another 10 minutes. That's punctuality. The staff was super nice and in a good mood. The temperature on the train was very good, it was warm but not too warm. Please one downside point is the food in the cafeteria. It tastes like it is reheated. All together 4 stars.

Everything I noticed was positive, so I would like to mention that I am happy to pass on the trip. But there were things that I particularly liked, and that was that there was a table showing where I was at the moment and I also particularly liked that it was comfortable, very cosy. I actually liked everything, except for the small wifi problems, but that is no reason to rate the journey with 4 stars, as the disruptions were only very brief and I otherwise liked everything. It was very comfortable. My train arrived on time. It was very clean on the train and the train looked very modern. Deserved 5 stars and I recommend the trip to everyone. The fares were quite high and the services offered did not justify the price. Overall, the journey was therefore unfortunately not so recommendable. The standards offered were simply not met. And that's why I wouldn't recommend the trip to others.

I travelled by ICE from Berlin Hbf to Nuremberg Hbf today. Unfortunately, the train was a little late. The seats are very comfortable and the wifi works great. The food in the on-board restaurant tastes simply excellent. I am very satisfied. There are also plenty of charging points for mobile phones, laptops, etc. I can only recommend it to everyone.
