The train journey on the VY 31 from Bergen to Oslo was a real highlight. It is a direct connection that offers beautiful views of Norway in 6 hours and 44 minutes. The seats were comfortable and the train was on time. The on-board service was particularly positive: the food on board was fresh and delicious, with a selection of hot dishes and snacks. There was also free wifi, which made the journey even more enjoyable. A highly recommended route

Disadvantages
IconLack of legroom
I found my journey from Bergen to Oslo very good. The train itself was very clean and the toilets looked hygienic. The seats were comfortable, but I lacked some legroom. The staff were very friendly and made clear announcements. There were plenty of power sockets and a stable internet connection. The train was not delayed and I did not have to change trains. There was also a snack machine instead of an on-board bistro, which I found very good.
