The journey on the VY 602 train from Oslo to Bergen was not only spectacular in terms of scenery, but also excellent in terms of comfort. The journey time of 6 hours and 48 minutes flew by thanks to the spacious seats and modern equipment. The free wifi worked perfectly and made it possible to work or wifi in a relaxed manner. The on-board staff were friendly and helpful, and the service offered snacks and drinks at fair prices. Practical power sockets at the seats and clean sanitary facilities rounded off the journey. It was also convenient that it is a direct connection. Perfect for anyone who wants to travel in comfort and experience the beauty of Norway at the same time!
Advantages
IconWifi access on the train
IconGifts from the staff
IconTrain is very modern
Disadvantages
IconComb slightly delayed
The train journey was very good, because you had a wifi connection on the train and could make phone calls during the journey, plus you got nice gifts from the staff, such as pens and the train was very futuristically furnished, but unfortunately the train arrived late, but overall the train journey was very good. We booked the ticket locally from our trusted travel agency and travelled with the Norwegian train company VY. We didn't have to change trains and the journey took six hours and 30 minutes. Unfortunately, we didn't get any food and had to bring our own.
Advantages
IconSufficient entertainment options
Disadvantages
IconTrain was late
IconTrain was unhygienic
IconStaff unfriendly
The train journey was very poor, starting with the fact that the train was very late, the staff were also very unfriendly, the train was also very unhygienic as the seats were very smelly and rusting in some parts of the train, and the staff were also very rude. The booking went smoothly through our trusted travel agency, the journey time was around 7 hours, we travelled on the so-called Dovrebahn, there was no need to change trains, but there were 8 stops during the journey, despite this there was enough food on the train, which you could buy for little money. To summarise, the drivers were good.
Advantages
IconGood view
IconFriendly staff
IconHygienic in the interior
Disadvantages
IconHigh volume
IconTrain was late
I got on very well with the timetable and the ticket and with my reservation. The journey time was also actually pleasant and I travelled on train BO615. The seats and catering were great, but the noise level was not pleasant. However, the service was very friendly. The cleanliness was also great and I can't complain about the price-performance ratio.
Advantages
IconFast ticket inspection
IconCleanliness and hygiene
IconGood seating comfort and equipment
IconWithout changeover
Disadvantages
IconHigh capacity utilisation
IconVolume on the train
Icon15 minutes late
The journey from Oslo to Bergen had been fine overall. The train was a bit overcrowded. As a result, it had been very noisy on the train. Also, the train had accumulated a delay of 15 minutes to Bergen due to the longer stops at the stations. Otherwise, the seats were very comfortable and there were power sockets and wifi on the train. Overall it was very clean and the toilets looked reasonably hygienic. The staff here were friendly and carried out a quick ticket check. I had to change trains as far as Bergen, just fine.
