There is a transportation hub located outside of the new Terminal 3 ​building, which can be easily accessed from arrivals and departures. From here, long-distance, regional and local buses can be caught, as well as the C1 rail line, which connects Malaga Airport with downtown Malaga in just 12 minutes, as well as other locations of Costa del Sol.​ The airport itself is modern and well-equipped, with ample dining options, free WiFi and business lounges. 

Departure airport: Flights from Berlin to Malaga depart from Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL). This creaky old airport is 11.5 kilometers from downtown Berlin, and is standing in for a new, modern airport, which will hopefully open some time in 2022. For now, travelers wishing to get from Tegel to Berlin will have to take the bus, which departs outside of the bus depot near Terminal A, and takes roughly half an hour to arrive in central Berlin. The airport, though small, offers limited food options, car hire, currency exchange, and free WiFi.
