Advantages
IconCost-effective
IconSimply
Disadvantages
IconNo snacks on board
IconSeats uncomfortable
It was a long drive, partly because of traffic jams and an accident. However, when there are two of you, you can have a good time. The journey itself was without any problems or interruptions. The wifi worked well. A big advantage is of course the low price and the simplicity of the journey (without changing trains). Unfortunately, there were no snacks on board or other catering. After the long journey, the seats were also quite uncomfortable. There were toilets, but I did not use them.
Advantages
IconBus on time
IconAdditional luggage possible
Iconwifi access
Disadvantages
IconNo toilets
IconSeats not comfortable
What was positive right from the start was that the bus arrived on time at the station. It was also pleasing that you could book additional luggage. Furthermore, there was wifi access and power sockets above the seats. One criticism is that there are no toilets on the bus. This could be problematic for smaller children or older people. Due to the very reasonable price, I will continue to travel with FlixBus in the future.
Advantages
IconComfortable seats
IconCheap transport option
IconNot tiring
Disadvantages
IconDependence on bus timetable
IconLonger than car and plane
IconLess space than in the car
The bus ride from Munich to Prague was very pleasant. The bus driver was punctual and we could leave immediately. The facilities on the bus were very good. The seats were comfortable and we had a power socket to charge our mobile phones. We were able to reserve our seats in advance and had enough luggage with us, which could be completely stowed away. The driver was very nice and accommodating, as were the other passengers. So it was not too noisy to drive to Prague in a relaxed way. We also took a break, during which everyone went to the toilet. The bus itself also had a toilet that could have been used. However, most people went to the toilet during the breaks. The cleanliness of the bus was definitely OK. If you are planning a trip to Prague and want to take a little longer for the journey, it is worth taking the bus and saving money. Accordingly, I would recommend this trip to everyone and will also opt for bus travel again in the future because I see more advantages than disadvantages.
Advantages
IconFavourable journey
IconPleasant as no change of trains
Disadvantages
IconWhen there is a traffic jam, you stand
The Flixbus journey from Munich to Prague was relatively cheap. Each seat has USB ports to charge your iPhone or smartphone. The bus was relatively clean and arrived in Prague 1 hour late. The reason for the delay was that customs searched the whole bus. This probably happens frequently on this route, which is why delays are to be expected.
