From the old to the new, a dazzling contemporary landmark in the city is Elbphilharmonie, a stunning building that connects the Port of Hamburg with Hafencity. Another imposing building is the Town Hall, which stands on an amazing 4,000 oak piles and has no less than 674 rooms. Hamburg is also rich in culture and cultural events.
