The train journey was okay overall, but the cleanliness bothered me. There were crumbs on the table and a few stains on the seat cover. That really spoilt the atmosphere, especially on a longer journey. I think cleaning should be better organised, especially on public transport. The delay was minimal and the staff were friendly, but the lack of cleanliness still spoilt things.

Our journey in the family compartment was pleasant overall. The seat reservation worked and the pram was easy to stow away. However, it was quite noisy in the carriage from time to time, also due to other passengers, which made breastfeeding a little uncomfortable. The connection was punctual and clean. We would travel by train again, but preferably at quieter times of day.

Unfortunately, I have to criticise the fact that the train was very late. Nevertheless, I did notice some positive things. These include the hygienic conditions on the one hand, and the fast network and constant reception on the other. I highly recommend buying your ticket online at a reasonable price. To cut a long story short, I give the journey 5 stars and recommend it to everyone.

There were charging facilities and freely accessible wifi on the train. The seats were very comfortable and could also be reclined. The service is friendly and helpful. The toilets were never occupied and are super clean. The price could be a little less.

Travelling from Rome to Florence was a multi-faceted experience. First of all, the price-performance ratio was reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise for me. The staff on board proved to be extremely courteous and helpful, which helped to make me feel well looked after. Of particular note was the punctuality of the train, which made for a smooth travelling experience, allowing me to be productive or relax during the journey. However, the hygiene in the public areas of the train left something to be desired, which spoilt the overall impression for me. Also, the seats were not particularly cosy and comfortable and unfortunately there were several changes of trains which made the journey more difficult. But all in all an excellent journey!

The journey from Rome to Florence was amazingly good. The price particularly appealed to me. This was also the reason why I bought the ticket. The booking options were flexible and relatively uncomplicated. A lot of consideration was given to hygiene and the toilets were clean and well maintained. The wifi was very effective and fast. This made communication and entertainment much easier. However, there were several transfers that made travelling difficult. Unfortunately, the volume was not adequate and the train did not arrive in Florence on time. All in all, a good journey!

My train journey from Rome to Florence was a real pleasure! The fares were reasonable. The facilities on the train were good - the seats were comfortable and the air conditioning ensured pleasant temperatures. The wifi worked reliably. In terms of punctuality, the train was absolutely reliable. It arrived in Rome on time and reached Florence at the scheduled time. All in all, everything was great and I would be happy to travel again.

The journey was really great. In my opinion, the positive aspects definitely include the excellent punctuality, the hygiene and cleanliness, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. It was also wonderful to see that the train was not too full and I was therefore able to find a seat for myself. As a result, I give the journey 5 stars and recommend it to everyone.

The journey was mostly positive. The only negative aspect was that the train was unfortunately delayed by around 20 minutes. I was able to buy my ticket online without any problems. Recommendation!

I booked the ticket via my Interrail ticket and still had to pay extra to reserve seats, which is quite annoying. However, I found it quite easy to travel by train in Europe and especially in Italy. As far as I remember, the train was on time and there was also wifi and a power socket. As with almost all trains, the cleanliness was questionable and not satisfactory for me, but everything else was fine. The train number was: FR 8418

I used the regional train RV 4100 for my journey from Roma Tiburtina to Firenze Campo Marte. With my Interrail ticket, I didn't need to pay for a seat reservation. However, although I was on time, I was travelling for almost three and a half hours; the express train would have been more than twice as fast and would have offered much more comfort. There was no air conditioning on the regional train, so it was very warm, no wifi and apparently no power sockets. The cleanliness of the train and the toilets was okay. At least the seats were soft and the train wasn't full, so I had enough space for myself and my luggage.

We travelled directly from Roma Tiburtina to Firenze Campo Marte on the regional train RV 4100. The journey took three and a half hours and the train was on time. We would have been two hours quicker on the express train, but we wanted to save ourselves the chargeable seat reservation for our Interrail ticket. In return, we had to do without 1st class and air conditioning. There was also no wifi and not enough power sockets. The train was very old, but the seats were soft and the toilet was reasonably clean. Nevertheless, we would recommend the express train.

We travelled 1.5 hours by train. The scenery was beautiful and the time went by quickly. The conductor was very friendly and the train was in really good condition. We arrived in Florence on time.

My journey from Rome to Florence was very fascinating. The price of the ticket was very reasonable and good value. It was definitely worth it for the distance. The staff were very friendly and courteous to their guests. During the journey I had a few queries and questions, but these were clarified by the staff and I felt very well looked after. The wifi connection was very efficient and stable. This meant I was able to be productive during the journey and work on my laptop, for example. Maximum attention was paid to hygiene, as the toilets and seats were well maintained, hygienic and clean. The train also arrived in Florence on time, which made planning easier. However, the seats were not comfortable and cosy. The volume on the train was not optimal and I found the reservation options confusing and complicated. But overall a great journey!

I've always found trains in Italy to be punctual, but unfortunately that wasn't the case this time as it was 20 minutes late and I missed my connection. But at least the staff were friendly and helpful.

The journey took a good 1.5 hours and was comfortable. The seat was comfortable and power sockets were available. The volume was okay, but not super annoying. The smell wasn't too bad, but unfortunately it was very dirty.

It was a journey that I remember very favourably. The internet was very fast. What's more, my train arrived at the station in Rome very punctually. Well, a few minutes late to be precise, but that's a delay that I don't think was too bad. It was clean, I had enough space and was able to stow my luggage well. The hygiene was very good.
Advantages

Disadvantages

Unfortunately, I have to mention at the outset that the railway was very dirty. However, as this is most probably the fault of previous passengers, the connection has not yet lost any rating points. The design of the railway station in Rome is fascinating. The sanitary facilities were not exactly hygienic, but at least they were accessible. The price-performance ratio leaves something to be desired, which is why it was only enough for 4 stars.

I was very pleased that the staff were very friendly and helped me with a problem. At the train station in Rome there were display screens everywhere so that I could be informed about changes to the timetable at any time. It was clean and my train was on time. I have travelled on cheaper journeys but I can say that the train journey was cheaper than the fuel for a car would have been. Five stars.

IconWIFI
The only problem on the journey was that the wifi was very poor or hardly usable. Otherwise, I can report that the staff were very friendly and I noticed excellent cleanliness and hygiene in the toilets and generally throughout the compartment. I would say that the price-performance ratio was very good. These are the reasons for my recommendation.
