The journey with train number 6532 was comfortable overall, although it took 4.5 hours. The trains were on time and clean. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space for a relaxed journey. Changing trains went smoothly, although it took a little longer. The station in Valencia was unfortunately a little confusing, but still easily accessible. All in all, the journey was pleasant. There was good wifi and good food. I was able to plug in my laptop.

The journey by train number 4345 was very comfortable. It took 4.5 hours and arrived very punctually. The train was neat and tidy, which made the long journey comfortable. In addition, the interior was good. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space. There were no major disruptions while travelling and the route was covered quickly. An extremely reliable and enjoyable journey overall! I was able to charge my mobile phone, the wifi was good and there was actually a bistro.

All in all, the five-hour train journey with train number 5209 was very comfortable. The train arrived on time and travelled quietly, which made the journey relaxing. Changing trains also went smoothly and the connection was well coordinated. The seats were cosy and had enough space. The cleanliness of the train and the stable wifi were particularly pleasing. This allowed me to use the journey efficiently. I was able to charge my mobile phone and buy a sandwich.

Spain has an excellent railway network, and it's never been easier to travel between Valencia and Seville, or around the rest of the country. All services are operated by the national railway Renfe, and depart from Joaquin Sorolla station. The first train departs during the morning rush hour while the final service of the day leaves Valencia in the early evening. However, passengers taking trains from Valencia to Seville should be aware that only the early train is direct. Those taking other services will need to change.

Where do trains from Valencia to Seville depart from and arrive at?

Trains from Valencia to Seville depart from Valencia's major train station, Joaquin Sorolla, which can be found to the south of the city centre. The easiest way to get to Joaquin Sorolla is by taking the Metro to the Jesus stop and walking from there. Shuttle buses also make the journey from city centre hotels, and it's worth asking your concierge if a service is available.

However, the Metro is easily the best way for those taking trains from Valencia to Seville to get to the station. Due to the times of the trains from Valencia, you won't need to worry about getting there at night; however if you find yourself at the station during the night, taxis are available.
