The journey was very pleasant overall. The train arrived almost on time, the compartment was clean and I had enough space. The seat was comfortable and even longer journeys were easy to endure. It was a bit of a shame that the wifi didn't work all the time. The air conditioning was also too strong at first. Nevertheless, it was a solid journey and I felt comfortable.

I had expected a bit more for the price. The train was clean and modern, but the wifi didn't work at all and the ticket was significantly more expensive compared to similar routes. There was also no option to buy drinks or snacks. The journey itself went without any problems, but the overall package was not convincing.

I decided to travel by ICE to get from Nuremberg to Leipzig Airport. It offered a convenient and comfortable solution. Despite having a lot of luggage, there were no problems stowing my luggage. Another positive aspect is the equipment. There are power sockets between the seats and a small rubbish bin at every seat. The toilets were also clean. Unfortunately, one negative point is that the standard ticket does not include a seat and you have to pay extra.

I was able to travel from Leipzig to Nuremberg within 2 hours without changing trains. However, the train was very full, so I had to book a seat. The train was very clean inside, but the toilet was unhygienic. The floor in particular was dirty and wet. The toilet was probably blocked. Otherwise, the seats were very comfortable and there were power sockets and internet on the train. The on-board bistro was open and the staff there were friendly. Unfortunately, it was very crowded, so I couldn't eat there. The train was not delayed, so I can recommend the journey.

My train journey was very pleasant overall. The train arrived on time, which is always important to me as a frequent traveller. The seats were comfortable enough for me to relax on the longer journey. The wifi worked reliably most of the time, which made it easier for me to work while travelling. The on-board staff were friendly and attentive, which made the journey even more pleasant. One small point of criticism was the noise level in the compartment, which was sometimes a little annoying. Nevertheless, I would happily travel with this connection again.

My train journey from Leipzig to Nuremberg was really cool, but there were a few things I would like to note. First of all, the cleanliness on the train was top notch. I didn't see a stain on the seats or in the aisle. That gave me a good feeling. Nobody wants to sit in a dirty train. Then the wifi was great. I could go online during the whole journey without any problems. It really shortened the time on the train and was very convenient. The service on the train was also really friendly and helpful. The seats were comfortable, no question. But there was one small snag: the train was late. That was really annoying, especially if you have a tight schedule.

IconNo changeover necessary
Disadvantages
IconDelay of 15 minutes
IconNo staff available
To get from Leipzig to Nuremberg, you can take the regional express train. In contrast to the ICE, this is much cheaper and still very fast. Unfortunately, the train was 15 minutes late at the destination station. No reason could be given for this as there was no staff on board. Otherwise, the train was very clean and I found the toilets to be hygienic. The occupancy rate and noise level on the train were also acceptable. I found the seats comfortable and the train had plenty of power sockets and a stable internet connection. A snack machine was also available.

Unfortunately, my train on this return journey was not an ICE and therefore not as fast, so the journey took much longer, which was a bit of a shame. But otherwise quite good. The seats were relatively comfortable, but could be more comfortable. But it was definitely clean! The staff were also friendly. The price-performance ratio is okay and acceptable. Overall, I can recommend the journey.
