Advantages
IconSmooth changeover
IconClean trains
IconPleasant volume
Disadvantages
IconSnack machines were missing
I had to change trains once from Leipzig to Magdeburg. This change was smooth as both trains were on time and the change time and route were optimally adapted. Both trains were fully equipped with wifi and power sockets and had very comfortable seats. The noise level on both trains was pleasant, although it had been very crowded on the second train. The trains were both clean and the toilets acceptable. The only thing missing on both trains were the snack machines for food on the way.
Advantages
IconPunctual train
IconGood price-performance ratio
IconPleasant ride
Disadvantages
IconTrain was very full
IconNo control of the ticket
IconStrange smell on the train
The return journey from Leipzig to Magdeburg was also quite solid. The train arrived more than on time, so I was spared the wait. In addition, the price-performance ratio was very good. On the whole, the journey was also pleasant and very speedy. On the negative side, however, the train was very crowded. Many people could not find a seat. There were also no controls. Whether this is positive or negative is debatable.

IconReliability
For a regional train journey, the journey between Leipzig Central Station and Magdeburg Central Station was surprisingly pleasant. Even if the train was a little more crowded than my previous ICE, which is of course a known fact. Almost everyone could have a seat on a regional train journey. In addition, our train departed and arrived on time, despite the many intermediate stops. I also noticed that all the toilet facilities and all the doors on the train were fully functional and there were no breakdowns. In my opinion, this journey on the regional train offered extremely good value for money
Advantages
Iconhygienic toilets
IconHardly any delays and no changes
IconStaff made a friendly impression
IconComfortable seats and sufficient power sockets
Disadvantages
IconHigh utilisation and high volume
IconNo internet connection
IconCorridors were very dirty
The train from Leipzig to Magdeburg had been very full, so I was only able to get a seat at the end of my journey. It was also very loud on the train, so it was almost impossible to relax. Furthermore, there was no internet connection on the train. However, there were plenty of sockets available. I also found the seats very comfortable and offered plenty of legroom. I had to rate the cleanliness in the passenger compartment as poor. On the other hand, I found the toilets very hygienic. Overall, the journey was acceptable as the train was hardly delayed, I didn't have to change trains and the staff made a very friendly impression.
