The train (ICE) left Hamburg on time and arrived in Stralsund on time. I didn't have to change trains. However, if you are travelling by local transport, you have to. Today's connection took about 2 hours and 45 minutes. As usual, the ICE was very clean and had plenty of seats. As always, the train staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there was a replacement train due to a storm, which is why it was not possible to reserve a seat. The toilets were clean and large enough. Wifi and power sockets were available and worked perfectly.

The journey from Hamburg to Stralsund was very pleasant. The ICE was extremely clean and not overcrowded, and the boarding staff were committed and courteous. We arrived in Stralsund without any significant delays. The furnishings in second class on the ICE are not extravagant, but still quite reasonable for the price you pay. The toilets and doors were all functional, so we had no problems with technical failures or anything else!

Even though I had booked the journey from Hamburg to Stralsund by ICE, which I surprisingly got for a really good price, the journey is unfortunately anything but short. Due to the many stops and getting on and off the train, the journey is really long. I also had the misfortune that my train was probably travelling at the most popular time and was therefore quite overloaded. Despite all this, the facilities inside the train were simply excellent, I had a comfortable seat with a table, a wide belt to stow my luggage, wifi and very clean and hygienic toilets.
