The seats were comfortable and offered enough space to make the long journey pleasant. The wifi worked reliably for the most part, which allowed me to work productively during the journey. I travelled by ICE 77 second class from Hamburg to Freiburg. It was a very nice journey because I saw a lot of Germany. Fortunately for me, the train was very clean, almost sterile. During the almost six-hour journey, I made use of the offer of the on-board bistro and treated myself to a soup. It was very tasty. In between, the train was a bit crowded, but I had my seat, so this was basically not a problem. The conductor asked to see my ticket several times, but that was OK.
