The train journey from Berlin Südkreuz to Hamburg was extremely pleasant! The comfort was excellent, with comfortable seats and ample legroom. The service on board was friendly and courteous. The cleanliness on the train was impeccable. The journey ran smoothly and on time. The good price-performance ratio was particularly positive. Which is why I arrive at an overall rating of 5 stars. Highly recommended.

IconPleasant journey time
IconMany luggage racks
Disadvantages
IconSlight delay
IconA little expensive
IconWrong wagon order
The route from Berlin Südkreuz to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof didn't get off to a great start. The train had the wrong order of carriages. So every person had to run through the whole train to find their seat. That was really stressful. But we liked the fact that despite the stress, the train staff were extremely friendly and remained calm. Once we were seated, however, the journey was fun. Everything was clean, we had wifi, power sockets and there was even free water because of the heat. Really top! We can only recommend the ride, even if the ticket was a bit more expensive.
Advantages
IconFast ride
IconGood connection
IconNice staff
Disadvantages
IconIncorrect display of the wagon order
The journey from Berlin Südkreuz to Hamburg got off to a somewhat hectic start, as the carriage order displayed online unfortunately did not match the actual order. So all the passengers on the train first had to find their correct carriage or seat. After the initial back and forth, however, the situation quickly calmed down and the rest of the journey was very pleasant and passed quickly. The on-board staff were also very nice.
Advantages
IconGab wifi and sockets
IconToilet was clean
IconTrain was on time
Disadvantages
IconTrain was very
The train was very modern, I had several power sockets and free wifi at my disposal. However, the temperature on the train was a bit cold, so I put on a jacket, which made it a bit less comfortable. Nevertheless, the seats were comfortable and the conductor was very nice. The toilets were also very clean and the train arrived on time, which is another positive aspect.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
Disadvantages
IconCleanliness
I went to Berlin a few months ago and was very surprised that the train arrived on time. As always, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, but the staff was very friendly and attentive, even clearing away rubbish when asked, something I have not been used to from train staff until now.
Advantages
IconEverything top
Disadvantages
IconNothing negative
Top facilities, free wifi for the whole train journey. The seats were also very comfortable and the train was not too noisy. As far as reservations are concerned, you could get tickets online but also on the spot. The seats were very clean and so were the toilets. The train arrived on time and you didn't have to change trains too often. The price-performance ratio is also top, it's worth it!
Advantages
IconPleasantly full train
IconFriendly staff
IconPunctuality of the train
Disadvantages

I found the train journey generally very pleasant and I felt very comfortable on the entire train journey. The staff took very good care of us travellers and also offered us a coffee in between. The train's toilets were very clean and there was also enough legroom on the train. As I had to work on the train, the wifi connection was of particular importance to me. It was always very stable and I was able to do my work without any problems. We arrived in Hamburg on time, without any delays. I am completely satisfied with the train journey!
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconPunctuality
The trip was good. I had wifi and a power outlet. The seats were comfortable and the volume was pleasant. I got catering from the nice staff. I also had a reservation, which is how I got my information. The toilets were very clean, but unfortunately the train was not on time. I did not have to change trains. Price-performance ratio is good.
Advantages
IconAtmosphere
Iconsympathetic staff
There were 6 of us in 2nd class and for 6 people, my trip was very cheap. The mood and atmosphere were great. The staff were very humorous and also created a good atmosphere because of their good mood. They also did a good job. The food was very tasty, I ordered a croissant and a coffee, which arrived very quickly and were also delicious. The wifi was also good. There's nothing wrong with it, as everything struck me as positive, I recommend the trip.
Advantages
IconGood food
IconComfort
IconCleanliness
It was a good train journey, which gets five stars. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the prices were fair. There were also foreign dishes. I had plenty of room for my luggage. My seat was comfortable and my seat and the whole train was clean. I arrived on time. I would recommend this journey.
Advantages
IconNice service
IconComfortable seats
IconFast journey time
IconModern equipment
Disadvantages
IconLots of beer bottles because of a stag party
IconAccording to
IconExpensive ticket
My train journey from Berlin Südkreuz to Hamburg was unfortunately not as nice as I had expected. The comfort was okay, my seats were comfortable, the snacks that the nice service had brought me were also good. However, the atmosphere was quite loud, as I understand there was a stag party going on. The cleanliness was therefore only mediocre, as there were quite a few beer bottles lying around in the train compartment. Despite this, the train was not late and arrived on time, but you have to be aware of the ticket price. It's quite high and it's up to you whether that's enough for the expensive ticket price, but I would still recommend it. Nobody could do anything about the stag party and they also had fun.
