On the journey from Bamberg to Hamburg, I had to change trains once in Berlin Hauptbahnhof. There, I had had 16 minutes to change trains. However, as the first train was 15 minutes late, it was possible to miss the connecting train. But the staff gave me friendly advice and let me wait for the connecting train so that I could change trains in a relaxed manner. Overall, it was a relaxed journey on both trains because everything worked. The cleanliness, comfort and service were also perfect on both trains.

The train connection was generally punctual. The departure and arrival times were reliably adhered to. The cleanliness of the train was good overall. The seats and floors were tidy and the waste bins were emptied regularly. It was positive to note that power sockets were available to charge electronic devices. The toilets on the train were neat, tidy and well equipped. Overall, I found this train service very positive and very fast.

Even though the journey from the south to the north can be completed in under 5 hours and you don't really have to put many pennies on the table for all the fun, the train was unfortunately quite busy and so there were also some delays. The comfort of the journey was nevertheless guaranteed thanks to my seat reservation and the train itself was also very clean and the equipment worked perfectly.
