The Lufthansa early Saturday morning departure offers the quickest journey time on the 1216-kilometer route southwest over the Mediterranean to Palma-De-Mallorca, taking two hours to reach the island.  Most direct flights take between ten and 25 minutes longer to complete the trip from Bavaria. The Eurowings indirect connection via Dusseldorf takes four hours and 30 minutes total journey time to Palma-De-Mallorca, but other indirect connections can take upwards of five hours.

Arrival Airport: Palma-De-Mallorca Airport is one of Europe's busiest hubs, located eight kilometers east of the city center, with public transport transfers downtown available on metro rail services and route 1 buses, taking about 15 minutes. Facilities at the airport include car rental agencies, cafes, a pharmacy, gift stores,  business lounges, ATMs and taxi stands.  Should passengers be in the mood for something to eat upon landing, several small restaurants and cafes serve food ranging from basic fast food and sandwiches, to sit down meals with table service. However, better local cuisine can, of course, be found just a short drive away from the airport.
