Around ten miles from the city centre, Manchester airport offers good transport connections with destinations across the north-west and beyond. Each of the three terminals has a wide choice of refreshment and shopping outlets, as well as passenger lounges, free wi-fi and multi-faith prayer rooms.
Arrival airport: Flights terminate at Edinburgh Airport. Passengers arriving at Edinburgh airport have a variety of transport options to get them the eight miles into central Edinburgh or on to another destination. Trams provide a frequent service into the city, and connect with the local rail network at Haymarket and Edinburgh Park stations. The 100 bus service goes direct into the city centre, and a chauffeur service, car hire facilities, pre-booked taxis and a public taxi rank provide further options for anyone who wants to travel onwards by road but has not left a car in one of the airport car parks. Inside the terminal, the Arrivals Hall includes refreshment and shopping facilities.
