To Moscow by plane-travel tips

Invest some cash in a Troika card (Oyster card) for the bus or metro to navigate the city. Marshrutka minibuses accept cash and are faster/more convenient than the bus for surface travel. Also, be sure to have a universal adaptor for charging your electronic devices. Now you’re ready to explore the sights and sounds of Moscow, there are some obvious targets which must be highlighted.

First and foremost is Red Square, home to the iconic St. Basil’s Cathedral with its multi-coloured parapets and spire. The historic Tretyakov Gallery with its ancient relics and modern masterpieces is also highly recommended. Both are open to the public with guided tours or you can just explore them at your leisure.
